Help! Manifold/mainlining malfunction!

Hey guys I'm trying to manifold my plant and it's confusing me a bit and my plant looks different from the ones in the how to lol. I get how you have to tie the new growth down but my new growth is thick as hell and would snap if I tried to do that. Should I move my light farther away to try and stretch it? Also since the new growth isn't tied down should I wait on topping the two new growth tips? Any help very much appreciated!

1.) Create "Base"

• Let young plant grow 6 nodes
• Top to 3rd node and clean all extra growth except top 2 growth tips and their fan leaves
• Now you have 2 main colas - these form the "base" of your cannabis manifold

2.) Create 8 main colas

• Let each side grow 4 nodes
• Top to 3rd node on each side
• Instead of cleaning all other growth like in the last step, just remove all the growth from the 2nd node on each side, leaving growth from node 1 & 3 on each side
• Now you have 8 colas!

But give it the correct time to grow more nodes, by which time you should be able to shape the plant more. If needed you can tie the plants when a bit bigger and adjust daily rather than trying to force her to the shape required too quick.

So I went ahead and started to bend them slightly since they are more flexible than I thought I have a bunch of zip ties around so I used them and they work perfectly. Also here's my other plant I'm working on, it's a week younger.

It's not? I just saw they were tied down in the how to and then cut off sometime while the new growth is being bent back

I would also cut em at this point, you get closer internodes imo.

I have 3 in flower. 1 has 16 tops. The other 2 just started flower . 14 on one and 4 on the other.

Last grow i did one plant from a clone of a buddys. I shoulda veged longer but i still pulled a lil over a zip of dense nugs. First time getting a manifold plant thru flower. Last time i wasted 10wks on a male. So we shall see. I got one under the ufo80 with 16 tops and another under a diy with 14 tops and another with 4. So we shall see

Ahhhh, there's a high chance my Reggie plant is male xD that's what I was told at least, came from bud with quite a few seeds lol I definitely want to see what you yield this time man! Do you guys know of any good safe US based seed banks? Not tryin to fudge with customs lol I was looking around for Top Dawg seed suppliers and found this site seedsherenow.com. Anyone ever order from them?

That pic is from my last run.. I think it's about 3 weeks old.. You're right that soil is too rough... It's only about an inch deep..

Damn 3 weeks??? What the shit lol I'm like a month and a week in and my plants looks super small compared to yours xD I must be doing something wrong haha

You should try these! The red ball thing, They took care of my gnat problems! Got em at Wally World in the pest section. 2 of em for $5. One lasts a month or so. There's a solution that attracts them in it and then traps them inside

So I sat down and smoked a j with them and ended up with this I know some of you said cut the fan leaves but a couple other members in another thread said leave them onso it can feed on them. Would it feed off them that much? What do you guys think? Sorry I'm just Alil paranoid about cutting stuff off still lol
