What is causing this

Was in the sun an guess took bad pic. But not all the leafs are doing it. see be only some branches. an plans that didn't have it are starting to form like this ones now.. So my guess is to much of somthing in the food jus wondering what...
 
Still have no idea what is causing this.. its happening to more an plants i have never seen it.. We have russets on the other lot but Ive had russets an have never seen this wile dealing with them... Im still leaning on nutrients issues
 
Looks like broad mites which are worse than russet mites. They inject toxins into the plant that look like nute issues.
Are you feeding synthetic fertilizers/bottled nutes?
 
Are you checking you EC and PH when you feed? Could be salt build up since you are using such large pots but I'm really leaning towards broad mites, especially if it first appeared on a few branches and is starting to spread. You need a little handheld microscope to see if you have the little bastards.
 
Yea I check the PH and PPM , We're leaning on more of the broad mites.. Always thought Russets an Broad Mites where the same but after a little research there different even there egg's.. but Thank you, waterproof808 ! think you solved my issue... but one last question can the Poison they inject still have effects after there dead and gone?
 
Have you checked the PPM of your run off yet?

Russets can be seen without microscope if you know where to look, broads need a scope to see. I think the toxins can affect the plants even after the mites are gone.

People say feeding your plants 1 uncoated aspirin (salicylic acid) tablet per gallon will help bring them back. Chitosan is supposed to help as well but more expensive
 
I havn't checked run off.. but everything gets fed the same 6.0 pH and flushed with at least 25% run off every week.. Hard to check run off in a 100 gallon smart pot.
 
Yeah, I feel ya...but if you can manage, it would confirm if its a nute issue or not if the run off was coming at out like +2000ppms.
I'd get a small microscope ASAP and start inspecting the leaves on the affected plants and be very careful to clean everything very well before touching plants that are not affected. Good luck.

I feel like a broken record.. I agree it's broad or Russet.. it's the curling up of those background leaves and some of the bigger fan leaves that look like they have a deficiency. Growers in Cal, Oregon and Wash. are getting hammered hard this year by them.

Not to sound like a meany but haha. Those states have way too many greedy growers who produce WAY more than they need for a decent living. Now they get taken down a few pegs by mother nature. Those mites, once they get a good foothold, will be the ruin of the West coast MJ overproducing growers. With no real winter, at least in cali, you know what's going to happen, outbreak.

I'm not saying there aren't greedy growers, I'm sure there are. But I think the issue is more irresponsible cloneers selling selling genetics to growers that are compromised.
Russet mites are everywhere, just like every other bug, they just need the right environment to explode in population. We have that environment on the west coast! High temps and low humidity.
I don't mean to sound like a meanie.. but your comment is like some redneck saying aids is gods way of punishing gays!
It ain't about greedy farmers.. it's our climate! We had cold nasty winter in central Oregon, hot dry summer, no rain at all.. not a drop, since early June!

Alright, just I've seen too many videos of Cali people with giant plants covering huge areas. Gotta figure one or two such plants would suffice for a non-greedy cunt. Don't know what they yield, gotta be 5 lbs at least. Maybe 5 plants tops then, but like 100? Just fucking pure greed.

It has been rumored that certain states release broad mites to control noxious weeds along highways.
