i've been told to not expect much from exotic looking strains but how much did they yield for you? per plant
 
While I cant swear all of it will turn out this color, the Afghani Black by USC is a Pure Landrace Kandahar Afghani, Pre Soviet, and not the modern day stuff.

Its Very Powerful and a big producer. Tastes like the best hash. Narcotic Stone.

Mine is all for personal consumption so I don't usually bother to weigh it but I would definitely say above average. It won't compete with a dedicated cash cropper but if you check out mass medical ig you will see it can still yield very heavy. He scrogged a single plant to take up an entire tent. Was a potent couchlock high with a heavy purple/musky taste.

planted 10 bcbd the purps, 5 feminized white lable purple bud, not one germinated!!! very very disappointing!!!

i have the same gdp as the picture above.. i have 4 growing, 2 male,2female just put them under 12/12 yesterday...
should i keep a male for crosses?? i also have seedsman white widow, supose to be true breeding,, i have 3 1 is female the other 2 i think are male,,again should i keep a male for breeding??
dark star looks very indica dom,,hope i get some color from the gdp,dark star, ultimate purple, or panama
 
has anyone grew ace seeds violletta?? i have 3 feminized seeds i think ill plant them pretty soon,,if i dont see any colors w/ all my new mothers..also does anyone know about grizzly purple kush?? it sais auto next to seed sex,,, i hope its not an auto..

hey but your right about getting not much yield from a purp strain, im finding that to, hope when these get chucked together at a few will end up with some real weight, ive read the Buckeye Purple is a heavy yielder, she will probably be one of the 3 main studs chosen, its up to you but i would go the GDP male, grew GDP out last yr & her crosses are being grown out now, she may not be all purp but certainly a great smoke & a delight to smell her buds!
 
saw your post and I was told that instead of flowering 12/12 light cycle go with 11light and 13 dark (11/13).This is meant to bring color out more and more terpene production and recently found out that dj short uses this method and he is a fantastic grower so well worth a try for extra nice pheno potential.hope this helps mate

Also forgot to mention this will be an outdoor offseason grow, hoping the winter nights will help em get more color. i live in southern california so there's not much of a difference besides it dropping a few degrees. but anyways, do some of these strains have auto versions? from what i can tell only Vostok's recommendations do

nahh those purp widows are all still in their original pack, purp chuck be happening next year or one after, will post those chucks on RIU when they go down
 
Not sure if anyone cares but i ended up getting 3 Dark Devil seeds, 1 purple haze and 1 Narco purp seed. You all had great suggestions i was just on a budget. Thanks guys
