Is Gorilla the most reliable brand of tent?

Does anything compare from your experience? I am shopping for a 4x8 and wondering what a good price would be. Thanks

They for sure used to be, but the difference in price no longer matches the significant quality, the ipower grow tent I have is the best out of 4 other previous owned tents and not a single pinhole leak, reliable zippers. I was impressed tbh

Ipowers are horrible. Had a friend get one. Zippers were shit and one of the poles was a quarter to half an inch too short. it took him over a week to get a replacement.

Gorillas are worth the money. So are Secrets, if you don't need the extra height provided by gorillas. I actually prefer the design of Secrets to Gorillas.

if they were half the price they'd be worth it, they are really nothing special anymore though, they are a holdover of the early days when prices were artificially inflated due to the illegal nature of the hobby and the "where else you gonna get one?" mentality that drove up prices on everything "indoor" related. They still charge that inflated price while competitors quality improves for pennies, the vivosun zippers are like fucking butter, the various competitors are making the price difference for quality argument obsolete, soon the Chinese will have the quality and price in line

It has to have the best zippers possible because you will be zipping and unzipping them constantly.

The stitching has to be good.

The poles and corners should be steel.

I bought a Hydrohut years ago before I knew what to look for. I've already had sticking zippers and the stitching looks like it was done by an ape. It works okay, but it's definitely NOT the best.

I'm undecided about my secret jardin. The zipper is so-so, lots of pinhole light leaks so i have to cover the tent with blackout curtains. Otherwise i love the verstility of the model i bought. 4x3x5 with a divider for a cloning room giving u two rooms, 3x3x5 and 1x3x5. The smaller room has a shelf too. I personally use the entire 4x3 as one chamber, but the option is there should i need my cloning chamber to be within the same tent. Im just not sure that it would be 100% light proof from o e side to the other and would probably require some fenagling. I also had a height restriction in my space, so the 5' height was necessary. Makes growing a little more hands on because intense training is an absolute nesessity with the limited height.
