Only thing I can think of would be to give that pot a flush. If you think it's too hot. That's about the only way I know of- to get that soil to a more suitable nute density.

Yeah I've learnt a lesson with autos when they say don't go to full on with soil mix and ferts etc
The best quality compost you can get your hands on,sphagnum peat moss,perlite. Go 1 part each and that's your base. Neem meal,kelp meal and crustacean meal that's your nutrients. Soft rock phosphate,oyster shell flour and glacial rock dust that's your minerals. Add some worm castings as well .

Rubes advice before was spot on just keep it simple. But your right about quality soil.. Just be careful about adding to much to one mix you might think it's gonna be the best mix because it has the best ingredients but if the ratios are way off you could end up with toxic or hot soil.
