What color temp for my COB veg light?

Howdy,
Converted two mars2 panels to 3500k citizen clu 1212 for flower, looking to convert my other two panels over now for my veg light.

Was thinking 4500k off the top.

I've read all the spectrums between 4k-5k are good but wanted to know what you all found to work best personally.

Thanks!

3500K CRI 80 for veg and 3000K CRI 90 for flower.

4000K CRI 80 has too much green which makes it less effective imo and 5000K an up lacks of the reds.

I ran 3500k with some blurple leds added in and they did alright minus some yellowing that I just made a thread about but I don't see why a 5000k wouldn't do better in veg than the 3500k. It might have a lot of green but it also has a lot of blue that I thought was more used in veg and would keep the plant short with tight nodes. What I've heard is 3500k veg/flower general spectrum. 3000k just for flower and 5000k for veg. I don't know why lack of reds would hurt in veg.

id like to see a side by side of 4000k or 5000k

people dont give veg the attention it deserves, but when you consider a lot of times in on 24 hours it should be the first to be optimized
If I keep these current lights for flower i'll go 5k 90cri. edit: You only have the CLU1212 Gen6 90cri's in 5.7k so that would be the spectrum probably

Will I regret not having the 90cri for my 3500k flower lights? Sold out of them when I ordered. I could do the other suggestion & use these for veg, and go 90cri 3k's instead for the remaining panels.

I'm running 400w in 2x4 space so I think the CRI might not be a big deal, tent is borderline overpowered as is.

From the spectral graph I'd choose the 4000K over the rest for vegetation.

Plenty of everything in that COB.

If wanted to get technical I'd put one 5000K with every two 4000K to get a bit more blues in there.

They look like 35W chips, maybe one per square foot?

The 3500K seems to be the strongest of the bunch.

My thoughts were that too I've looked at a couple of videos and apparently you get more oomph with a 3500k over a 3000k and the CRI effects them too if I'm understanding it correctly, bear with me I'm a virgin to the LED world just got into it and loving my GOD 4 so far, I was going to buy a COB 2 Budmaster but 2 separate cobs give me more freedom and mix the spectrum a bit, Budmaster COB use the citizens@3500k ice mud loved them too, thanks for your input folks all taken on board

Was thinking of getting the red initiators anyone tried them? Don't need much watts
Never, although I have read there are several studies that support that theory.

It would be a good idea to play with that after you have everything else dialed in.
