Afternoon everyone, I’m venturing into Hydroponics From COCO. Just wanted to ask the big community at Grass City what they dislike the most about growing with Hydroponics! Just so I’m ready and prepared to experience this! Thanks to all responders. Bless up!!!
Technically, growing with Coco is considered "hydroponics". Hydroponics is defined as growing in any soilless medium.
What type of hydroponic technique are you switching to? The very easiest is a 5-gallon bubbling bucket. You can build one for less than $25, and is a great way to get you feet, and some roots, wet. It's so easy to grow incredible plants in a DWC, and DWC can range anywhere from being extremely inexpensive and simple, to a super charged, weed-growin' monster machine that you've invested both time and money into. Something you tinker with and fine tune all the time.
Each system has it's weak points, and with some, those weak points can be many. With my 4-plant rdwc/under current, I have a water pump, air pump, 2" pipes and connectors, bulkheads, etc...any of which could be disastrous upon failure. That's why you have to keep a close eye on it. It takes work to maintain a hydroponic system. But for me, it's totally worth it!
