Good luck.! I just put mine up today that took me 2 days to build lol. I'm very excited. I'm sure you are too. Post pictures of your build. Ask questions I'm sure plenty of people will help like they did to me. I got 2 different kits.
In my 2x2 tent i put 4 CLU048 1212 that I dimmed to 50w right now. My plants are only 7 days old.
I also bought 2 CXM22 that make 150w. I'm putting that in my bigger tent with other led to experiment.

I believe the driver does take the 5. I see everyone really like the 3590s. Again good luck on your build I'll be around.

Nice man!. Yeah i guess from what ive seen Cxb3590s are the best at 50w. But id love to try the clu and CX. This being my first COB grow im still in the experimental phase of COBs and yields. My stuff just came in and i picked up some metal for the casing today so hopefully ill have something going by tommorow. Il post pics then. Thanks for the interest and info!

Post some pics when your done. I've been searching for grows that are going on at the moment but can't find many that are with cobs. And same here. Experimenting to see how they work out. I was stressing when I was putting mine together. Smoke But not too much to keep calm lol

Wont be done for a few days but this is my current set up without the Trellis. Im starting on my Cob build today. I had to get a different thermal paste because the one i picked up is permanent adhesive. Clones were in a bit of rough shape but some Greenthum action brought them back!

Pretty plants but that's not Cree COB LED...

What is that you're vegging under?

They're ok for veg. Sounds like you got the right gear for bloom. I'm subbed for the ride.
Much appreciated!. Ill be sure to keep it updated!. I was thinking of keeping these running as well as the Crees for bloom. does that sound like something that would benefit me in your opinion?

I've never had great luck with blurple LED. They aren't as efficient as their hype would suggest, either.

I thought I remember ecosunlight boasting Cree CX's in their Viparspectra. I just looked for them and nothing showed up. I wonder if they disappeared like all the other "excellent" companies on here do?

The best lighting companies I know of are advertising right here on RIU, and they haven't gone anywhere.

I used viparspectra. It's actually what my cobs replaced. A 450w viparspectra. Did pretty good job I think. I have 2 450w in my big grow room. Actual watt is like 200. But I'm also putting a cob set up to compare them. So if you try it you won't be the only one.

Awesome!. I haven't tried a Cob grow on it own yet but i feel like adding the Leds i already have and the Cobs during flower should be helpful. Unless theres something im missing.
