General theories must fit available data and facts. In order for that theory to be valid, it requires unknowns to be true, such as decades long, perfectly held secret at the highest levels of government (aka deep state) -- yet somehow some people "know about it", the existence of FTL space traveling alien life, a reason for aliens to do this and so forth. It makes a good story but doesn't fit the definition of a theory.
Also, technology builds upon itself. Even if an ancient scholar knew the secrets of a nuclear bomb, building such a device in an agrarian economy is impossible. A lost civilization with that kind of technical infrastructure would leave evidence behind. If everybody departed this sphere tomorrow, we'd leave behind evidence for others to find for practically forever.
Pictures on a pyramid wall isn't evidence either.
On the other hand, Plasma Beings, they don't have to travel to the earth. Read up on Plasma Beings.
Just kidding. Our current level of tech is amazing and all the more amazing because mankind developed it.

No I don't agree with the alien/ technology advancement theory.
But I do agree that the truth could be hidden about alien contact and we are fully misdirected.
And no alone the cave and pyramid pictures are no proof.
But with other evidence things we believe get foggier.
They discovered a whole much larger city under the sphinx in Egypt years ago. Apparently we can't just dig it up without destroying it but as I read the present sphinx is merely carved from the head of a huge one buried underground with the rest of a massive city that further defies our historical belief of the technology back then.

Excellent article. I don't know where I saw the opposing info but it was way past 1977 when this article says the ground survey was done.
No mapping computers in 1977.
There were also translations of kabala writings found deep underground that showed the people were not slaves to the ancient Egyptians but rather sharing in an endeavor to please the gods together.
It was documented and photographed but I don't remember where I read it. Sorry.
