Unsulphured vs Sulphured Molasses

Will it be a problem If I use the sulphured molasses, how do I know if its unsulphured? Also how much do you use from start to finish?

Setup: Led, coco, hesi nutes, soft water, ppm 100, ph 8.

I see you are using synthetic nutes. You have no need for molasses as it’s meant to feed microbes in soil. Your synthetic nutes will kill off your microbs so you will have nothing to feed the molasses to.

Hmmm ok but I thought it was for the calcium? Also I have hesi powerzyme and it have microbes because I am using coco.

If you feed with nutrients with npk values higher than 5ish the microbes get confused and can die off. High enough numbers just flat out kill them assuming I was informed correctly.

If you're using synthetic nutes and additives in large quantities molasses is kind of a moot point, you will have some microbes but not enough really. A better option for bennies in coco would be regular aact feedings with inoculants brewed. Add a little kelp extract after and go with about a cup to a half gallon or gallon. If you regularly inoculate your plants say once or twice a week you'll probably see better results than with molasses.

Wow I don't think I've ever seen that in stores by me.

Anyways it should be fine. As far as I know calcium is pretty microbe friendly because it helps aerate soil I believe. Values of like 7 aren't the end of the world, but if you feed with like a 9-30-50 or something that's gonna wreak some havoc. Again I'd recommend regularly inoculating with an aact anyways so you should be fine regardless.
