This is not true. I had a visit from the task force.. 6 plants in the unincorporated areas. Check each other city for the laws. You can grow outdoors in sd city but not poway per say.

So do you guys think I'd benefit more from digging down as far as I can with a raised bed, or going with fabric pots? I think for simplicity I'd rather go with pots but i'm not married to the idea.
Also I live in a somewhat densely populated area. For the most part I have good neighbors but Id still like to be stealth. Can someone recommend another greenhouse film that isnt so translucent? Harbor freight sells a "farm quality" tarp that's about 14'x18' for $20. needless to say im hesitant.

Check out FarmTek, Oregon Greenhouse Company, Forever Flowering, etc. Just bouncing around between industry suppy websites you should be able to get a good idea of whats out there.

then apply your locals. there is nothing in any San Diego region that allows for outdoor, unless its a locked type facility green house that's a non residential parcel. farm type zones, are required to file for agricultural licenses/prime requisites (FDA) as well as cannabis licensing and meet all extended precautions.
unless you got yours done before 2014, you gonna be in line for the new ones being accepted next year.
we are hanging on to 500/500SF down in san ysidro industrial area. we were cleared once in 2010, basically a shake down, that made us pay double to "reapply" cults(1)(2)/transpo/storage/transfers/energy certs all need to be held.
I'm no sure, what your are planning, but our lawyers say; if it can be seen from the air, or accessible to public by any means; jumping a fence, hiking whatever its not legal. in San Diego.
even if its just one plant.
my advice is not to listen to me, but do your own homework. whats funny is cannabis laws are kinda like doctors in that you want to get a second opinion from another lawyer to be as close to your TDC legally as you can.

I'm not sure about this san diego region. But the city of sd and the unincorporated areas and all of the other cities that make up the county all have different rules. The greenhouse rule is for the city of sd specifically. Unincorporated may have up to 6 out door or in but just 6.

it is fucked; you think we are having trouble reaching a conscience here. try talking to a CEA, or even a beat cop...nobody knows WTF is going on here.
we are moving in 018 do to some law changes, oddly look up la mesa they have some pretty attractive health and safety codes; but they hate concentrates like bible burning hate.
I wish the state would just hand down the frame work, cause letting each city/county make its own money grab is crazy. look at spring valley: they issues permits, then resend them raid/fine/collect fee's rinse-repeat. but they ACCEPT CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
meanwhile, every law maker up north is so stoned they DGAF.
Im in east county and started a grow and am using the sun to my advantage. It is from seed and my seedling stage was my hardest. I have 4 that are doing great unknown strain. Have 2 in gallon pots and 2 in the ground. The only worry i have is my veg state in the cold weather since its hitting 50s but i guess i see what happens i spray a lil bit of water with some kelp plant food in the morning every other day. I have a lot of nodes growing right now so my best tip, heat waves expect to water like every day or every other day.

Bud Worms? Get some BT. It's organic. You just dilute it with water and spray it on the plants once or twice per week. Bud worms and caterpillars eat it and immediately stop feeding and die. You can use it up until the day of harvest. Does not harm the tender pistils at all. I have had great success with it! When I say success, I mean ZERO worm damage.
