No no, please i wasnt implying that me or any of the people i have spoken to know better about this than you, obviously i dont even know you and could never make such an assumtion, i know for a fact that i know basically nothing compared to you because this is my first time growing in coco, all i was saying is that it is not absolutely imperative to feed every watering in order to grow a plant in coco, from what i have read on various guids and been told from many people is that feeding every other watering is kind of a safety measure to ensure no salt buildups. These are not my "friends" these are experienced growers who make guids and give advice to newby's like me, and this is what i have been told to do as a response to the nutrient burn and the algae growth respectivly, but maybe what ive been told is completely wrong, idk. But thank you very much for your help, in your opinion do you think not feeding every watering could be the real cause of such painfully slow growth? Keeping in mind im using cfls?Well, not feeding every water, is obviously working for you. If you burn it you just tone down the nutes, not eliminate... but you and your experienced friends obviously know better,
Algae on perelite? You need better air circulation.
Sour d in 1 gal pot, coco, perelite, hydroton. It's never been flushed. I feed/water every other day.

Good luck, I'm sure it'll turn out fine. Keep in mind topping will slow growth a little.
