No..the question was..can I reveg a plant that is 10 days into flower..or better yet..since flip to 12/12. it's my last resort to save the plants..one is too big and before throwing it away..i wanted to see if perhaps cutting it back down to how it was at 2-3 weeks old with just maybe a few nodes on it would allow it to recover. As for cloning..that's out of my league..i tried, never worked. I want to see if at least one of the two can be saved by re vegging it..these as they are..the flowers/buds will be useless on them. Can you re veg a plant that's not flowering?
Not sure about defoliation/chop but it'll take at least a couple weeks usually to revert to veg.
yes, that's true..I just wasn't sure if its possible to do it so soon after flip. I want to cut it back down to the 2nd or 3rd node max...leaving one big fan leaf on each node?Yes, you can only reveg a flowering plant.
Leave as much foliage as possible and change your light cycle. They'll start throwing out weird looking single bladed leaves once it starts growing again.
I don't want to wait till end of flower..as that's why I want to reveg..to save the plant and hopefully it would produce quality buds. The way they are now..they wont be quality bud..just big.You can reveg a plant that's nearly finished flower if you want. It's all to do with the amount daylight hours it receives. Any more than 12 hours of light and it will reveg.
They take roughly a week to a fortnight to start reverting and showing new growth. Each bud left on has the potential to grow many new branches from it.
Growth will look strange at first. But will gradually return to the normal 5,7,9 or however many fingered leaves yours grows.
If you're cutting off branches try cloning them in a cup of water. Make sure to change the water everyday and eventually they'll root.No..the question was..can I reveg a plant that is 10 days into flower..or better yet..since flip to 12/12. it's my last resort to save the plants..one is too big and before throwing it away..i wanted to see if perhaps cutting it back down to how it was at 2-3 weeks old with just maybe a few nodes on it would allow it to recover. Just leave it alone and reveg it. If it's to huge cut it down but don't leave one leaf on it...yes, that's true..I just wasn't sure if its possible to do it so soon after flip. I want to cut it back down to the 2nd or 3rd node max...leaving one big fan leaf on each node?
Not really interested in clones..i tried it with this grow for the first time..and after 8 attempts combined between the two plants..it didn't work..only thing that grows is mold..even with 40% humidity and temps in the upper 70's. if these weren't so big..especially one of them..i'd throw it out..but being its so big and growing and drinking..i wanted to try one last thing before it goes in the trash. If you're cutting off branches try cloning them in a cup of water. I cant leave it alone..if I reveg..it has to be cut down.its almost 3 feet high with multiple toppings and lst..over 3 feet wide. That's what I want to get rid of..as its all the upper growth that is bad and has been for like 6 weeks now. I want to get rid of all of it and start from the beginning with it.Just leave it alone and reveg it. If it's to huge cut it down but don't leave one leaf on it...
I put 3 plants back into veg after 2-3weeks of flower. After 2 month they finally started growing single blades then got healthy and then they hermed so I had to kill them. Waste of time never again..Just wondering if I can defoliate/chop a plant that's 2 weeks into flower to start to re-veg it? If so, how long would it take with lights flipped back to 18/6 for it to start to reveg? Thx!
That’s from either shitty genetics or issues in your growing or growing area. I’ve revegged many times. I’ve taken a plant i flowered i really liked so I left a few branches on her after harvest and let her grow back out and ended up making a ton of clones off of her and after a year of cloning flowered her out and she was just fine.I put 3 plants back into veg after 2-3weeks of flower.
