And that's all he was. He wasn't a murder, just accused. The guy was a crazy fuck, but from everything I've ever read about him his sentencing was based on pure emotion over public outcry. Multiple life sentences for telling people to go kill others is fucking ridiculous. I tell people they should kill someone else, for multiple reasons, all the time. Doesn't mean I'll do it. By most people's rationale of Manson, every one of our modern presidents are maniacal, psychopathic, killers because of their orders to kill. But that's for 'Merica, so whatevs.
