I’ll call them and get some samples in the shop. Thanks for the advice.maybe you should look into stocking Mega Crop. allot of people here are trying it out with good success.
The one thing I will not do without are bloom boosters/carbs/bennies(also Mammoth P) and hygeia hydration.
What's the best DE bulb available? Thanks!Years ago I joined RIU and people helped me refine my growing skills. Since then I have started hundreds of grows and oversaw over 500,000 watts of growing power. I have owned my shop for over ten years and help people everyday with their growing needs. I have not only my own experience but the experience of thousands of other growers that I have helped. Currently I run 3 grows: 16,000 watt DE grow and 2-10,000 watt SE grows. I have done hydro and soiless, CO2, and sealed. Now I spend more time with my kids and grows and my wife runs the shop. So here I am back on RIU after several years of growing and baby making. I can hook you up with advice and equipment and make your grow successful. So how can I help?
I went to a show in reno a few months ago and I sat down with Ushio, Hortilux, Gavita, and Phillips reps. They all say that they're better than the other. I run Philips 1000 Watt HPS AGRO Plus DE EL Lamp I also have this meter-PAR Meter with Integrated Sensor - Sun System. So since I only use Philips I am biased but if you were to have to choose I would pick either Philips, Ushio or Gavita. Let me know what you need if anything I can point you in the right direction. Here is a graph of the lights...What's the best DE bulb available? Thanks!
that was almost verbatim what my local grow shop told me and especially the mammoth p.The one thing I will not do without are bloom boosters/carbs/bennies(also Mammoth P)
Fixed it for ya.Does any mug buy Mammoth P at $190.00 a Liter?.
I use it regularly. I also stopped using it due to the price. I use a half gallon a month @ 1ml per gallon...(yes I don't follow the instructions) but I also use dechlorinated water and use it from rooted clone till harvest. I called them and told them I how I use it and how I tell my customers how to use it. They said it's recommended to use more, so I will try more when I have the funds. I get it at cost and know how expensive it is. I would say with it I grew around 25% more. I haven't stopped growing for 10 years straight and I saw a noticeable difference. But to each their own, I only know what I know. You should try it out again.Does anyone buy Mammoth P? They gave so much of it away, Really didn't see the hype after using it for 3 grows.

makes me wonder what yours and his profit margin on the mammoth p must be? quite mammoth i'm guessing.
Yea its worth it if done properly. You need abought 50w per square foot min this is 800w in a 4x4 (or its equivlent in more efficient lighting abought 450w cmh or 400w cob) because of this most veg areas do not have the lighting to make co2 worth the cost. Also garden temps must be hot to get the most out of it. 85 to 95. Dont worry the co2 makes the plants more resistant to heat and light damage.running sealed with co2. is it worth it? i just set up another room and im wondering if im going through a bunch of hassle for nothing. should i just use co2 in veg and skip it in flower or run all the way through?
keep in mind i have all the stuff already. no more investment needed.

Been growing MJ for over 40 years..
Bloom boosters are not needed! If you can feed a strain with a proper balance of nutrients, you don't need them at all. Many will decrease run times and speed up ripening. Your losing potential!
High levels of some nutrient compounds lower your potency (the same is true for minerals or micro nutes - not generally delivered by boosters). These are delivered by boosters.....I respect your grows but, one shouldn't fall for nutrient maker hype.....
Take a look at my journal - the "challenge" one. These are water only organic run strains.....They set in several different bloom soils.....They get no "boost", and MJ doesn't need one nor does it improve it if you grow near the plants intake limits....
I have to disagree with Mammoth P use! You can do the same by brewing an AACT (simple bennies tea) and not pay their staggeringly stupid price for things you can make yourself!
BTW, my organic girls, get this stuff mixed in normal watering every 3 weeks.....
I gotta ask. What carbs (source)? It should be explained that the most carbs do is to feed the living bennies in the soil. And then, only certain one's. If you run in soil, real soil. You really don't need to add bennies. Their in the soil and will grow as you water. Synthetic use does starve them pretty good. Some can die but many go dormant.....By adding carbs your feeding the bennies and keeping them active.... The claims that carbs are up-taken and used by the plant are suspect at best. The plant does not take up carbs (by an extremely vast majority of carb compounds). It makes them internally.....
As far as the Yucca based Nectar of the gods stuff.......Why? Your soil or media have a problem holding moisture.
It's far better to water more often then to water huge amounts and let it sit for days on end.....
As far as the chelating agent in the yucca. What is that really doing for already chelated synthetic nutrients?
The idea of it is great but, a good soil to start. Doesn't need, or really benefit from that much.....
I know I sound negative, and I'm not meaning to insulting your choice's! I'm sure your result's make you happy but, I'll say you don't need those to do well, and that's my only point.
Sometimes us old fart's. Raise an eyebrow to grow shop owners and their trait of suggesting certain product's.....I mean we never had all that fancy bottles with cartoon characters and such, on them.
I still do some synthetic running. I like a certain line and only use the base and bloom. You adjust amounts as needed and I only supplement Mg sulfate and/or K slufate formulations I make myself for seriously less then name brand formulations. These do include a carb source for the bennies to increase availability by increasing living bio activity...These are only used at set times and dropped early to not inhibit THC production.
I applaud your desire to help! I just have reservations on boosting and certain product use.... Less is more!
I'll also say that the use of such things in proper ways, Can, and do work.....You tend to have to learn how to change the feeding charts to make it work best.
I'd rather focus on reaching all potentials..
Please don't take offence to my post, as none is intended! I'm blunt and some don't take to that well.
Peace on and post on!
Sure if its stored at a temp beyond the recommend. Or if it's years old.Does Cal/Mag go Bad?
