is there any truth to reducing stretch by keeping night/day temp closer together?
i'm vegging under 6500k then flowering under 3k cobs,so that doesnt help.id like to lower my k's in veg at some point
LOL. I went a bit mental in an LED thread recently. I made a promise not to fight with anyone or be a jerk till at least the New Year.this might be a record. one whole page of a topic where nobody called somebody an asshole. lol.
feel the love peeps!
I set my room controls per cervantes and rosenthal and I dont experience stretch.
I suspect stretch /growers are concerned with is rooted(pppun) in all of those controls functioning properly and together?
There might not be just one change a grower can make to control it. Similar to the plant growing only to its weakest resource, while one control is whacked- it becomes the limiting factor in the garden produce.
Ass hat! Lol jkLOL. I went a bit mental in an LED thread recently. I made a promise not to fight with anyone or be a jerk till at least the New Year.
Fresh start. New Avatar. New signature.
It has been a few hours so far and I am doing great.
Wish i could get some ghost train seeds.
Ass hat! Lol jk
They go Ass Over Elbows if they have to chase you down hill.yeah, they come up on our deck all the time. scary how fast they can run and climb.
Thanks! Using a Ushio pro now but it casts me about $130. Phillips looks to be more reasonably.I went to a show in reno a few months ago and I sat down with Ushio, Hortilux, Gavita, and Phillips reps. They all say that they're better than the other. I run Philips 1000 Watt HPS AGRO Plus DE EL Lamp I also have this meter-PAR Meter with Integrated Sensor - Sun System. So since I only use Philips I am biased but if you were to have to choose I would pick either Philips, Ushio or Gavita. Let me know what you need if anything I can point you in the right direction. Here is a graph of the lights...View attachment 4054647
If you need Gavitas let me know they are running a special throughout December. Do you have any other questions?
yep I have used both a couple years ago. exhale lasts a long time but puts out very little co2. would need 4 to 6 of them in a 4x4. another product that preys on inexperienced gardeners. the enhance puts out much more co2 you need 2 in a sealed 4x4 to reach optimum levels but it only puts out that much co2 for a week. at 25 bucks for a recharge pack......... tried my own enhance bottle with sugarwater and yeast worked almost as well but after a few weeks decided it was to much work shaking them every day and making replacements every week.
So basically what you both are saying is yes they work but not cost effective. With the Exhale you need more bags and you have no control of out put of co2 . @Dynamo626 you said the Enhance works and puts out more co2 than the Exhale but only last a week.#1 - waste of your money
#2 - waste of your money
The gas "bag" is not a controlled release and decrease's after a peak is reached......
You can do better with out those draining your wallet over hyperbole.
running sealed with co2. is it worth it? i just set up another room and im wondering if im going through a bunch of hassle for nothing. should i just use co2 in veg and skip it in flower or run all the way through?
keep in mind i have all the stuff already. no more investment needed.
Was just going to tend to my plants when I realized. It had nothing to do with how they performed once installed. It was because they either broke when installed or did not fire up when he was adding a large quantity.I spoke to a grower in from a large cultivation facility out here in vegas. They are all big facilities out here.
This was last year. He hated the DE Ushoi bulbs. Not sure why. Could have just been in a bad mood installing them to an addition in the grow.

So if they both produce co2 (which the plants love) and I run autos and run lighting 24/0 wouldn't my plants benefit from the added co2? I see where the Enhance would be costly to use on the other hand the Exhale bag is a hang and work deal and does supply co2 just need 4 in 4 x 4 area.
Cannabis doesn't use CO2 when there's no light.
Like nearly all plants, marijuana stops using CO2 during the night (dark period). CO2 is primarily used in the day by the plant as part of photosynthesis (turning light into energy), so if there's no light, there's little need for CO2.
Therefore, flooding your grow area with CO2 during your dark period can be a waste of time and money. CO2 mainly provides benefits when the lights are on.
I'm just trying to understand all this. IMO it does seem plants would need more co2 when supplying more light especially autos where you have the option of running a 24/0 lighting. Just a newbie trying to craft his skills with Autos and looking at all the pros and cons of adding co2 to my grows. Thx
are you directing this to me?If you sell ornamental only products to marijuana cultivators...and I find out about it,
I'll shut you down.
Some manufacturers use tamper proof hydro product bottle caps
while others do not. Can you do anything to urge those others to begin the practice ?
I was jimmied once with watered down product fooking ppm's during a cycle.
When my suspicions were confirmed I received inside info concerning the switcheroo, an inside job.
We tested right off the shelf in store and an entire rack was tainted ! Nope, no way, no how will I ever risk
another plant with an unprotected bottle. I stopped patronizing locals for these reasons. never looked back, save a ton of cash
grow a better cleaner product and have more fun now.
I know you dont practice any of this nonsense, but I bet you know about it.
Please help by being part of the solutions.
Both are good options in getting CO2. Obviously not as good as a sealed room with a CO2 ppm control, but they do work. I would focus more on becoming a master grower and then add CO2. What I am saying is grow for a while and try to get a consistent product and then add CO2.your thoughts on these type of products

I'm a newbie and did buy Exhale bag. I run autos on 24/0 light schedule so I can utilize the co2. Thx
My lighting for 2nd grow has a total draw wattage of 1,164 watts and LED wattage 3400 watts. My grow space 44" x 44" x 9ft high plant height could reach 6 ft plus (dreaming with Autos) gonna run 9 plants. I may look into a meter to see what levels are without first. My thinking is a little is more LOL may not apply to co2You are right that no co2 needs to be added during a dark period.
And if you grow 24 hrs it will be utilized the whole time.
You would have to contain the gas from the bags in the Grow area and realize it is better to “rain” down the co2 as it is heavier than air.
And the amount usable by the plants is proportionate to the light intensity.
My rooms are right next to my living room. When my friend came over with his meter it shows over 650 ppm on average with no supplementation. This is with at least a couple of people in the house. I use an active intake of indoor air so when we talk or breath we reduce co2.
My 600 watt lamps are intense enough for maybe 750 ppm according to my research so no real need for me to supplement with these parameters.
Don’t you grow any sativa leaning plants that get viney?
I have plants that never stop growing right through flower. OG Kush x Trainwreck is a branchy monster. Like ghost train Haze it is.

yes sir I do. I bend/twist/tie is all. Easier than fucking around with lights and temps and such, only to find that causes more issues. I've also grown some sativas that will not get along well with me, my habits or my space, go figure.
