Buyers aren't getting cheaper, the competition is just increasing. The market is over saturated with outdoor bud. If people are only getting $1200 a pound for indoor then that doesn't leave much room for outdoor.

The good old days of 2-3K a pound for outdoor is over or rather reserved for black markets.

I remember in the 90's when a unit of coke was 17, you had to cut that shit up, wait for a drought or wait for the out of towners and charge them a arm and a leg

I agree, but there's still a unknown on what was used to grow said herb.

As long as you keep the product fresh (Stored in a glass container in a cool dark place) The market is sure to be better for ya during mid-summer. There's always a drought during that time and while yes prices will still be down (compared to previous years) you're almost guaranteed to see at least an extra point per unit. I'm assuming we're talking outdoor. Now if we're talking premo indoor you're just getting low balled. A good indoor unit still goes for at least fifteen.

Also have considered trying a trimming machine like the Twister? I hear it's only good for dense nugs but could pay for itself in the long run, if you were running something like GSC & OG's.

I'm actually in a. Little shit town on the coast... Larfy buds with no real taste... Thats why I am putting together my own grow..with all the new tech out there I figure if I can make anything half as good as what I see being grown on RIU I will be good to go. Still in the set up phase and a week or two from popping my first beans in years but well worth it in the long run.

I have never been to a shitty town on the coast,thats where all the money is at up here in maine,want to c shitty go inland 40-50 miles

Feel shit for Brownguy though. He did a good grow, brand new infrastructure and he even had to contend with running off generators till recently.
I followed him this season. I think just as we accept sometimes something happen in the grow room that impacts the yields, sometimes something happens in the market.

If I had as much raw weed as he did I would invest in some kind of processing.

2017 I saw no drought for the first time. Was still getting packs hella cheap in the summer. The save and store method is a by gone era I do believe.

you gotta take a leaf from the mining industry and forward sell

a minimum of 90 days hence at an agreed price

I've been doing it 20 years +

best is a sell date 9 months hence or 3 grow cycles/photos

just ensure you get a deposit (1/3rd) first

the one main reason I was /am against legalization

Iv ben hearing about guys in nor cal getting rid.of.five.packs.for 25. Of good shit too, pretty soon you won't be able to make money unless you grow Atleast 100packs, (i grow a lot of hay for a little pay)
