Okay thanks that makes me feel betterI can't really see, but you've either topped it correctly, or fimed it....so it's all good
what would you say the correct amount of time is to veg? They’re one month from seed now, under my 600w mh, the tallest being 7” so far, I was thinking waiting until they’re one foot? Thanks for you adviceFIM means "Fuck, I missed"
there is no correct way to top. Your expectations will determine your cut.
you could top down to one leaf with survival, or top to the first node too.
I only top the unruly or the plants waiting long time in veg before moving to flower.
IMO Sometimes it's better to wait rather than go for topping early on, especially with clones. Not all strains respond well to topping. (especially early on) so it's certainly not a bad thing to wait until they've reached a foot. (although I rarely agree with this particular redneck I'm about to mention) I agree with subcool (aka TGA genetics) when he says that it's better to just play it safe & top w/scissors vs Fiming and possibly missing causing serious problems later on.what would you say the correct amount of time is to veg? size dont matter lolwhat would you say the correct amount of time is to veg? They’re one month from seed now, under my 600w mh, the tallest being 7” so far, I was thinking waiting until they’re one foot? Thanks for you advice

they can flower right from seed, seedling, sprout, 7 inches, or 7 feet. It all depends on your habits/space and ability to provided necessary resources in a timely manner.
if you're looking for height stop topping. If you want more bud sites try pinching the tips instead of removing them. you could alternatively bend the top down and tie it for the same hormonal response of producing more bud sites.
I suggest not worrying about this. and just flower when ready. know your plant may double or triple in flower. using that info calculate the best size of a plant for your space/habits.
If I can I allow them to show some sex in veg before I flower but its totally not necessary.
your growth is slowed a bit, for the watering.
try this.
feel the weight of the dirt pot before water is added.
add 1/4 the container/dirt volume of water to the container.
1 gallon of dirt needs one quart of water added all at once and allowed to drain
out the bottom of container if needed. feel the weight of the container after you add the water(could even weigh it if needed)
walk away.
when the container feels light again like it did earlier, add the same amount of water all at once.
I prefer organic feeding. organic jobs spikes, Organicare chicken shit, roots etc. follow directions on the packages.
I didnt know you were growing in coco. ignore my watering suggestions if so.Yeah sounds about right. Definitely more consistent watering w/coco
Yeah I’ve never thought about growing organically, what are the results like, I’ve done one previous grow in coco and it went well but towards the end of flowering my leaves went very yellow and crisp, I think this was a build up of nutrients and salts in the coco because I didn’t flush! A learning curve I suppose..Yeah sounds about right. Definitely more consistent watering w/coco
I wanted to love coco, for the disposal/burn factor at least.Years ago I fell off the pro mix/happy frog wagon and tried a dozen or so pots of coco. Oh my, I saw the biggest failures of my mj life ! Little did I know at that time a coco user needed to prep the mess first.Yeah just a handful of mothers but its certainly a different ball game vs happy frog soil.
Organic is the all round best method imo....tastiest herb I've grown...nom nom nomYeah I’ve never thought about growing organically, what are the results like
Happy frog is coco, just with other shit added.Yeah sadly I have to say fuck Coco big waste of resusores better just to stick w hfrog imo
Hmmm, I Fim'd with my fingers last night after reading it's safer than normal topping! It's 20" tall so I wasn't to early.IMO Sometimes it's better to wait rather than go for topping early on, especially with clones. Not all strains respond well to topping.
