In reference to charlotsville, there were more than nazis present. There were actually people there who did not want the statues taken down for historical reasons. Our history should not be erased as people are trying to do now, just because a minority of the populace(i dont mean that as in ethnicity) find them offensive. They are part of our country history and heritage, should serve of a reminder of how far we have come. If you were to destroy every statue of anyone who held a slave, you would need to completely change the entire landscape. Most of these statues were erected for other reasons, such as the robert e lee. His statue was put up because he helped to reunite both sides among other things.

well, besides him kicking 22 million people off of health insurance, ruining our standing in the world to the point where we are no longer respected or trusted, sharing codeword top secret information with the russians, spending $150 million to lob bombs at an airport runway in syria where they flew combat missions out of the next day, getting 4 soldiers killed in chad, another soldier killed in yemen, stealing from the poor to give private jet tax write offs to the rich, trying to literally ban an entire religion from the united states, trying to kick qualified transgender soldiers out of the military, and spending $100 million worth of taxayer money in one year alone to pay for his golf outings, not much.
