for $1850 you can retrofit an old T5 fixture with samsung strips and be way ahead
This is the kind of reply that keeps holding the led market back and letting HPS reign supreme.
Many like myself are in legal states and there are lot's of growers / companies looking at setting up legit permitted operations - What do you have to offer them??

The Inda-Gro fixture and several others from big names will be certified, permitable, qualify for utility rebates etc.
We are talking different sized fish in many cases. We know that retail price is not what someone making a multi-fixture purchase will pay per unit.

Now back to the bones of the product, has anyone taken a closer look at what this product has to offer?

seems pretty straightforward and between fluence and PLC in cost

im sure there are quite a few UL listed samsung strip fixtures not intended for growing that you can dim to desired efficiency economically

here's how it stacks up pricewise... obviously this doesn't take into account things like certifications, sunset dimming, etc..

Impact Series Model No 151-740 LED Grow Light = 2.36µmol/j @ $1850
Watts = 740
PPF = 2.36 * 740 = 1750
$1850/1750 = $1.06 per PPF

PLC 6 = 1.97µmol/j @ $799.00 MSRP
Watts = 598
PPF = 1.97 * 598 = 1178
$799/1178 = $.68 per PPF

Timber 900 Watt Vero29 Framework = 2.0 μmol/j @ $1,399.00 MSRP
Watts = 900
PPF = 2.0 * 900 = 1800
$1399/1800 = $.78 per PPF

HLG 550 = 2.4 μmol/j @ $1,049.00 MSRP
Watts = 515
PPF = 2.4 * 515 = 1236
$1049/1236 = $.85 per PPF

Tasty LED T22-3000/90 = 2.6 μmol/j @ $360.00 MSRP
Watts = 196
PPF = 2.6 * 196 = 509
$360/509 = $.71 per PPF

ChilLED Gen 2 1000W LED = 2.4 μmol/j @ 2,199.00 MSRP
Watts = 1000
PPF = 2.4 * 1000 = 2400
$2199/2400 = $.92 per PPF

sounds like induction lights never caught on.guess they just could not compete with T5's.SPD looks like white LEDs with 660 and 730 mono's added

They finally caved........ guess induction is over

2.4 umol/j! Lol, Dan must be smoking some good shit........or Stephen is selling some QB's to inda:). good people but never sphere tested shit other than Bugbee
Yeah, in light of LED's (no pun intended), I was wondering how long they could keep flogging the old induction horse before it finally gave up the ghost :lol:

@OneHitDone if those umoles/watt figures + spectrum + coverage is accurate then in my opinion that fixture should deliver up the goods in terms of yield and quality of the final product.
