I did almost 7 years in Federal Prison.
1 guy they put in as my cellie was in there for a hate crime, arson. Klan, NAZI Burning a cross, threatening a Biracial couple, staking a Confederate, and Nazi flag, in their yard and he also supplied the fuel. They had a little baby in the house too.
I had many, Black, and Latino friends in prison, as well as white guys, had already been in there 3 years, and I didnt like hate groups, or people that hated, or bullied other people. Most people in prison don't like a punk, but many in prison are mentally ill, don't get any help, are left up to their own devices, and big and strong, or just willing to carry out on a threat, and can become dangerous predators, or they already were before they got there. You don't have to be big to kill someone. Only willing to do it. The most dangerous person in prison, is the scared person.
I used to love to talk to some of the older Mexican guys about the old strains from the late 60s, early 70s.
My 1st cellie was the head of the Lois Farrakhan, Black Muslims at the prison, and unbelievably, we ended up getting on ok, and as I worked in the kitchen baking, I would bring him stuff, and didn't charge him. I had money, and all the stuff I got, I gave to people I liked, or who I was trying to show equal fairness, though many of his religion don't like many people/other races
But I was due for a bottom bunk, got moved, and then 3 weeks later a new guy was brought in, and was a punk. So I let everyone know who, and what the little punk NAZI was.
If Antifa stands for Anti Fascist? I'm in. USA fought that shit already. May need to be done again.
And I may not agree with many of their beliefs.
But the Enemy, of My Enemy, is My Friend.
Their stated focus is on fighting far-right and white supremacist ideologies directly, rather than politically.
I'm in, but do it both ways. They've killed someone, so they should beware. Paybacks are hell.
