Any strains that can do 3 runs per season outdoors in Colorado?

The start date would be around June 1 for the area based on what some people in the area have told me. This would be a licensed REC grow. .

This is not using heaters. I have two strains that supposedly average flower 42 to 49 days and another 45 to 50 days. One question is does indoor flower faster than outdoor or vice versa. I know indoor better than outdoor.

Based on calculations - the third run could finish Halloween which might require heat for the final few weeks.
Anyone been able to pull 3 a season in CO? If so what strains? Thanks for any help.

couple weeks of indoor veg then light depo run any thing u want,

A plant that transitions to flowering under sunlight changes (no light deprivation) will take about 2 weeks longer to finish compared to an indoor fast switch.

Like Thumper said, light dep is the only way to make 3 crops outside. The timer on the sun can't be changed. You have to change how much of it you use.

Crop #1
Heat might be an issue, but you can do a Spring crop with natural light. Here in Florida you start seeds mid to late November, veg until Jan 1-15, then put outside. {you would need a greenhouse due to your climate} Your dates might be a little different. Check to see how much sun you have in the spring, and work backwards from your re-veg date. I had some on the job training with this. My first crop went too far into spring and I had re-veg issues while I was waiting on seeds to mature.

Crop #2
Auto's, semi-auto's or light dep are required. You can keep Semiautomatics in veg with long light hours, like 22/2. Get them big enough to go out by the time your Spring crop is going to be chopped. They will start to flower as soon as they go outside. Getaway has buds ready in late July or early August. But he keeps his in veg until they are really, really big. Start sooner and you will be finished in time to get in some {slightly shorter than normal} full seasons.

Crop #3
Time your veg so they are ready to go in the ground when the Semiautomatics are chopped. A greenhouse would help this bunch reach the finish line. If you are late into the fall, supplemental light might be required.

I'm tired just listing that. Glad I'm not having to do it.

Lol, one season per year is plenty enough for me! Multi-pound plants are the way to go if you are running into plant count restrictions.

I did do spring crops the last two years, mostly to try out seeds I had made with the full seasons from that year. But after our recent cold killed all my plants, I'm inclined to agree with you. It takes a lot of time and effort to do extra crops. And they don't always pay off.

It would be a 1800 plant count license in CO. I am looking at a good green
house but not concrete slab million dollar green house.
The clones might be in a metal building indoor set up to veg.

The licensed people in the area

See if I can do 3 or 4 runs per year running lights and heat in the winter. I would probably run a mix of QB's and HPS. Also trying to see if I can do an earth battery to exhaust hot air into the ground pipes and suck out cold air. At night, pull the warmer air from the ground that was heated during the day.

3 runs a year might be possible. 4 seems a stretch. I am budgeting $1,000 a lb wholesale to dispensaries which works. Down to $600 a
lb it starts to get to hard. A concentrate license would be part of the plan too.

I am getting close to where I have to make a decision and the low prices are making me think it may not be worth it.

Talk to Doc. He is growing {and breeding} legal in OR and they nickle and dime him to death. When it all gets going he is going to do real well. Just getting started sucks up a ton of money.

Thanks. Who is Doc? he must be good because pricing in OR is supposedly lower than CO. I heard OR's cities, counties, politicians etc make OR almost impossible.
