Don't be a snowflake. I called it racist half jokingly because taco bell isn't fucking Mexican food. I have been called racist dozens of times here for saying words like gringo so I have the right to call that bullshit mockery of my culture racist.

I asked a question about a term I was unfamiliar with.

This is the sort of crybaby shit I've been complaining about recently. Conversation is just gone completely in exchange for who can virtue signal and call people racist the most, it's fucking ridiculous.

AR-15s aren’t “assault rifles.” Civilian model AR-15s are different than MilSpec M4s and M16s. You can buy a semiautomatic “hunting rifle” that fires a 5.56mm NATO/.223 Remington. It makes no difference. An AR-15 just has a pistol grip, picatinny rail, selector-type safety, and a flash suppressor, none of which changes its function.

I don’t really want to get into it. This is a tragedy and I definitely don’t want to be insensitive. I just don’t think banning a specific model of firearm is going to help.

Chicago: Banned guns. One of the highest levels of gun violence in the country. My ex-girlfriend’s uncle qas shot dead in a garage in Chicago.

Columbine: Happened during the Assault Weapons Ban of ‘94. They also had pipe bombs. Explosives are banned, too. Clearly, it didn’t work.

Vegas: Dude had 50lbs of ANFO, despite explosives ban.

Oklahoma City: Same thing, except way more ANFO.

Texas: Shooter stopped by a civilian with an AR-15.

You can’t close Pandora’s Box. It isn’t going to work. I think good people need to stop demonizing guns and pick one up. Then they won’t see only bad people using guns.

That’s just how I feel, not looking for trouble.

This is where you're just completely missing the point.

Objecting to the name of something because it's ineffective at communicating to the idiots in Tennessee or Arizona and trying to find the reason it is ineffective on a psychological level is a positive and helpful thing to do with any movement.

Not objecting to the movement whatsoever.

For example "Stop Black Genocide" or something similiar would have more punch, explains the issue better and doesn't imply all white people disregard black lives.

No he is not. Nicholas is as white as it gets. Cruz is a Spanish surname but Spain is actually a European country full of whites. Nicholas is a MAGA hat wearing white who trained with a white supremacist militia. He is a racist ginger with green eyes and has absolutely no chicano or mestizo descent. 100% honky.

I know quite a few Mexicans and a Puerto Ricaño with the last name Cruz. In any case, I could be wrong, he may be Spaniard.

Weirdly, I also know a few Mexicans who are legal citizens who support Trump. The mind boggles.
