And gun laws are in place. Where I come from if you commit a crime with a gun you are charged at a much higher level. If the cops don’t shoot you for carrying.

It's not racist to call somebody a white man or black woman. The point of that whole satire is that white people get upset at even being called white and that it's impossible to protest racial inequality in the US without raising the ire of white people. I want teachers who are good at what they teach, not small arms experts to teach english. And where do the funds come from to implement courthouse-level-security at all the schools in this nation? What you propose is a tax on not only gun owners but the super majority in this country who don't own them. Fuck that. We need better books and smaller class sizes first.

I might be ok with all of this if gun owners and the industry paid for all the extra security in the form of taxes and licensing fees. I'm not interested in paying one dime when the real answer is tighter restrictions on gun ownership.
