What do the numbers on the front mean 0-1-3I have used big bud a few years in the past with good results

Nitrogen is supplied by the base fertilizer for example, 'sensi bloom' by A.N. has sufficient NPK (the three numbers on packaging) values to sustain growth.
Big bud is merely an additive to encourage bigger flowers.
'Bloom boosters' should never be expected to contain much, if any nitrogen.
That being said, I ran plenty of A.N. products and have never been disappointed with results

You can do better with 2 bottles in bloom.
Botanicare KIND line. Base and bloom.
Base is 4-0-0
Bloom is 0-6-6
You adjust the amounts used to the plants needs. Some like the directed amount and some like less N or less P&K....more likely the N is what you would vary.
I make my own Mg sulfate and Potassium (K) sulfate and use those in bloom till about 2-3 weeks to go and stop their use....
You do things like this
Even better - Go organic....learn to build your own soils and do things like this
AN sells you watered down nutrients in way to many bottles. They make overblown claims and even lie to you at times. They print their own propaganda magazine. In which they treat you like Fox news does....Incomplete stories and outright BS claims...

A.N. makes noob friendly products that are all in 100 separate bottles and cost 5x more than they should.
But the results are good with just the 2 part base and a bloom additive.
It's not ideal, but certainly has done the job for me when I was starting out. The pH perfect thing helps a lot of new growers!
Still costs an arm and leg for just those three bottles though!
No longer using A.N. products. My ladies now enjoy a modified heavy 16 diet inside and all organic outdoor.

Everything out there will work. When properly used...Many nutrient makers give some pretty fucked up charting. Likely NOT for MJ.....Agreed.

Getting away from the hyperbole from nutrient makers, and learning what the plant needs, and supplying that. IS the answer

When I started growing years ago, before I even bothered to ask my grower buddies questions, I picked up a couple of books on growing marijuana from cover to cover.
The fact that you don't even know what NPK ratios are speaks volumes.
You can probably find a shit ton of used weed growing books on Amazon. Start there.

I have been using botanicare line 2 bottles forever with great results. Less is definatly more my friend. I hink my next crop im going to try mega crop only and see what goes.
