What is causing these spots?

Any ideas?

I'm guessing my pH is too high or my nutes are too concentrated.

I'm waiting for a pH meter in the mail. I have been having the worst pH meter luck.

They're about a month old and we're following the label for nutes, so I'm open to ideas.

Me too.
Damn handy to just have around, as well.
Especially if you're sus on the accuracy of, a meter.
Ive found even if my solution isnt clear. I just add more drops, when i test it.

Well I assume you used meters to tell you how many drops to add at first? I did and know 40 ml (it’s my well water :() gets me to 5.6-7. I still think a newb needs meters and calibration solution. As for EC meter I have one but it hadn’t been calibrated ever, I use it to watch what the solution is doing over time, either up or down. I just started trying a new nutrient and found that it lowered ph to 5.1 :(. With out a meter I would have no clue it went so low

Oh right .... opps :(. I can’t tell the difference between the colours but I just ordered some as a back up. I buy pretty cheap pens, about $40, and they seem to last better than the $100+ ones I’ve bought. I left one in the shed all winter so it was frozen for 5 months and I just tried it....works lol.

Ironically, ive found the drops, to be more accurate, with a good eye.
Ive had some pretty funky ph meters. The drops were always my saving grace.
Amazing, how well, you can get by, with drops, and a stake meter.

But yeah, ppms is a different story.
Until i can get a $300 blue lab combo. Drops, and a Truncheon is all i need.

Tbh, i havn't bothered, with the blue lab yet. Because, the drops, really are quite reliable.
Im sure it wouldn't for other DTW, like strait perlite. But a ph stake's, surprisingly effective, in straight coir.

Even DWC, and reservoirs. Drops, and a truncheon, is pretty, damn good.

Just an FYI, I'm a girl.

And right I forgot to mention, this is areoponics.

I'm using medi-one part one alone at the moment. We followed the directions, and are assuming we're in the light vegetative phase. It's about a month old.

I hope I remembered everything, I'm sorry I'm really sick.

I month, sounds about right, for the roots you have.
I was curious about the yellow??? Is it the colour of your nutrient?
What temperature is the water/reservoir kept at?

It's an old name, I was more of a tomboy back then ;)

The color in the roots is, I think, from our nutes, yes. I'm honestly not 100% sure, and I'm hesitant to touch them which I guess is what I'll have to do.

The tent is kept at a pretty consistent 72f with AC, and the water is around that temp too.

Imho
Keep your res between 18 - 20'C, at all times. Even if you have to get a water chiller, and heater.
I keep my room ambients at, 26'C during day, and 21 at night.
I think TBH, you need to cut your feed. Looks like too much, going by the foliage.

How often, are you adjusting, and topping off???
How many ppm?
What ph?
 
Id be running it all, on a few thermostats. To regulate.
I dont recommend letting your room drop, below 20'C. Growth slows right down for me.
But on the contrary. You have to keep the root temps, in that zone.
A lot of people use products like hydroguard too.
 
If you have it on a timer i would cut back on the watering, roots have got to be allowed to breathe even in aero. Medi nutes look like they are 100% organic so watch out for clogging if your using spinners or sprayers.
 
Your roots are rotting I think, sorry Tim :(. I bet your root chamber is hot and if cycling the sprayers the temps get even hotter between cycles. I had the same thing happen and added hydroguard, chilled the water, and threw it on continuos spray to get temps down. It saved my run and I stopped using sprayers after that, went back to FD
