hey there eveeyone, was just looking into what deficiency would be causing my leaf tips to brown up and spot a little, only happenning on a few of the bottom leafs, rest the plants healthy, its been fed only an organic based fertilizer i designed admended in promix hp , no bottle nutes switched between a 125w cfl and 150 hps now just living under a 40w cfl as its too big for my lil room there now. just wondering as wanting to learn to spot the odd defficienys i have a rough time diagnosing and fixing properly

I don't know about deficiencies alot but one possible thing is that if you have fan pointing on those leaves it could be simple wind burn.

all potted up from rooted hydro clones into miracle grow moisture. added growstones to them for more aeration so roots good do their thing. checking the biggest mom and roots are healthy and numerous. she will be up potted one time getting ready to take cuts to make the 1st run.

their is a slight nute charge with the medium and i have not added anything except plain water.
alaska fish is on the way to maintain mothers in epsoma organic potting mix. will buy some espsom salts to keep on hand. i already have iron sulfate too at the ready.

all the plants are pretty dark green except for what you see in the pics. only have 7 pots total

awesome man, yeah i think my gardens looking nicce for what it is, im just prepping the ladies up for the outdoors, always start then inside, the leaf tips at the bottom are yellowing slightly as can see but im thinking its either leaf age or maybe slight cal mag deficiency, i topcoated my soil in D.E to kill off some fruit flys messing with my soil. know that is a natural calmag bascially swo if is that itll probably sort it out, not sure how much D.E i should use to kill them off but i put a tablespoon per gallon of media topcoated to kill them off.

holpefully the D.E dimateous earth or however spell it kills the fruit flysw off, arent really harming my plants, but is annoying dealing with them

I havnt used DE before.
I was under the impression you put an inch or two deep, on top of the soil?
So they get cut up by the silica?

doesn't need to be nearly that deep, better to dust it on daily than bury them all at once.

looks like it might be a phosphorous issue to me. the pros say ph feed for pro mix at 6.3. seems to be working for me.

if u look at my thread you'll see the plants in a very different light no pun intended. all of them look much better than those leaves i posted show. but they were indicators of sort on plants that were at least 80/90% healthy.

i'll check my water ph/ppms, run off ppm's. nute charge was slight ans since the clones were rooted as well, ahead of time or by me i transplanted them into that moisture control since i figured i wouldn't have to do more than water them for 2 mths at least. if any most look like too much N imho.
i know i need to transplant the orig. green crack mom = twin dragon :) soon. and top the master kush as well. new medium should be here soon. will let those roots reestablish themselves so that the repot will have me prune the rootball to keep the mom smaller and more manageable for long term

as for DE. i used on a ginger plant and they fungus gnats played slip and slide in the shit frfr. as soon as the plant was about to ghost itself i dumped it outside. top dressing with de didn't work at all, i did that multiple times. i was told recently not to use it as it compacts the medium and makes things worse, aside from spraying on the leaves for plant defense i'll not use it beyond mixing it in fresh substrate.

that suckw, yeah ive seen some still craling through the DE at the top my soil, maybe i should keep topdressing and hope itll cut the lil fellers up like whaqt i read, mqybe theyre too big for the DE? i read its good for moreso mites ir aphids but thought itd be worth a shot, i mqy try spraying it in dilluted water in my plants outside as a pest/fisease preventer if that works well also

use sand to top off you medium instead and layer down blow. that way no matter which weay they try to exist it's not going to work out well. yellow traps for the flyers

Then, your leaves are pretty dark man.
Your tops are pale too.
My money's on a ph problem. Or overfeeding.
miracle grow moisture control potting mix. has a fert charge NPK = .21-.11-.16
which seems pretty slight and good for cuts that are actually mature plants once well rooted. ijs
i do think the culprit might be the mix though as i only give them plain water and nothing else.
i water to a slight run off and that's it. then wait till pot is light and almost dry before watering again. some like it obviously while some don't it seems. grrrr
