Fox Farm Happy Frog and Ocean Forest ratio

No bueno. This is the first is years I’ve heard about gnats in FF.

Is this problem associated with all FF blends or solely OF? Not sure how Fox makes their soil to be honest.

The bigger question is, might there be a way to correct the issue? Potentially by “cooking” the soil prior to use?
FFOF is known for fungus gnats, if you want quality soil that's premade i'd look into build a soil, much higher quality than any of these products.

I just recently bought there flowering top dress from them gonna do it with my next run have u used it before???

It’s misinformation you are appreciating. Bad storage is how pottin soil gets infected. And then bad gardening practices like overwatering and over crowding.
It's not just that, also compost/soil that has been infested with gnat larvae will have that problem. If you just google fox farm and gnat you will get plenty of results.

Or I can just know that I have gone through pallets of the stuff now and never seen a gnat come from a bag yet.

The gnats or eggs do not live in dry soil. You know. Like in a properly stored bag.

It is 100% storage or grower error.

soil doesn't get dried out and bagged, it is bagged moist

OF has air holes and is pretty dry when the bag gets to me. And it would have to be wet not just moist to attract gnats.

Overwatering and overcrowding is what brings gnats. They don’t come from the soil. They come from the surrounding environment.

Why argue if you really don’t know?

your experience is anecdotal, everyone else is saying FFOF has fungus gnats. you are outnumbered like 70 to 1

Actually the experience in the forum is anecdotal compared to the millions of bags they keep selling nationwide.

Experienced Growers know most of the crap said here is myth. And anyone not taking forum advice blind would have likely read a Grow or gardening book and they all warn of soil storage.

It is almost never the products causing any of the problems.
