This may seem random......but can I challenge you to a bicycle race?

I am allowed to ride carefully on the path in about 8 weeks if everything heals properly.

How bout Big Wheels on the rail trail paved path along Lake Michigan in June?

Serious note. I hope I can still ride singletrack and skills parks. If not back to Colorado for snowboarding at least.

How about 4 wheelers on the Tin Cup in July?

Tell me more. The river will be too low for me to kayak because of Murphy’s law so I need some hot weather fun by then I hope.
I'll be moving up to my place in Idlewild in June to live full time. I'll definitely keep you apprised. I'm sure we can find some sort of mischief. The trails were hopping last summer. Like we have not seen around there in some years.

Nice area. I’m not terribly far. Maybe you can come kayak with us. You may be quite familiar with my favorite places I have found in Michigan so far.

We got up to the Manistee river a few years ago but the pine looks like the fun one if the water is high and fast enough.

The Pine is one of my favorite rivers to float. And absolutely a kayak trip would be great no matter the river. The Au Sable in Grayling is also a wonderful area.

Well I got a couple 10 footers here and can borrow another pretty easily. I won’t give my exact location here but we can do a 4 hour trip into a wilderness area and campground without ever leaving town. Even has fun obstacles and spots like the pine I saw in videos.

15 minute drop and pickup drives too. Curvy ass rivers you got out here. I was used to Colorado high country rivers.
