Hey guys, thanks for the responses. 2 greenhouses both 30x60. I thought about smart pots, but the dirt I have is way too fertile and high producing it would be counter productive. It was tillage radishes this past year so there’s no hard pan whatsoever and it’s pattern tiled.
Plants have been under lights for 3 weeks. With the 2’ of snow we caught over the weekend it’ll be a long while before they see real sunshine.
IMHO
Unless you've already done large scale, production crops before.
You're being very optimistic, about your yield!
Granted, they'll be in a greenhouse. But as someone has already mentioned, there needs to be a lot of space between the plants. So they can get sun, all day long.
Otherwise you'll just end up with plant competing for the light. You can't pack a green house full of plant, the same as you can pack a grow room.
Each plant needs all the room they can get. If you were growing plants 6' tall or more, and 6' wide. Then I'd believe the expected yield. But at that size at 6 foot bushes/trees. How many can you fit in two 60' X 30' green houses???
Even in a greenhouse the plants aren't safe from the elements. Wind and storms maybe. But not everything else.
Do you have a shit tonne of air ventilation, and extraction? How are you cooling it down in the hot sun?
Everything about growing outdoors, is dependent on the season.
There won't be any using manures etc either. It'll be bottles, and reservoirs.
