Growing slow as shit. veg month 2 smalls as fck

okay so i have a dosi dos thats almost been vegging for two months compared to my last bag seed the thing was a monster by the one month mark. this current run is almost at TWO months and is literally like 8 inches tall, i started her waterings with silica and some sea weed extract after she was topped. shes in a super soil mix in a 2 gallon fabric pot. shes been topped lst’d and everything yet still the slowest growth possible.(besides the obvious setback of topping) any variables that coulda caused this? her little stalk is tough as shit yet soo small. her light schedule is currently socals outdoor consitions but i also will bring her inside for the night sometimes with 6 led bulbs. cheers

Genetics man it looks like it’s healthy as , although it’s posssible somehow you have given it too much nutrients and that’s stunted growth, can I ask how much sunlight per day roughly it has received , I’m growing out indica bagseed at the moment and it’s just a bit smaller than yours but one month old.

it roughly gets about 12 1/2 hours of natural light and then about 6 or so of led bulb light. this was my other bagseed at about exactly one month for refernce on why im tripping on it as for too much nutrients i doubt it, would be showing a form of toxcicity. like i said its in lightly ammended blend of supersoil with ffof as the base. only watered sea weed or silica every 3 or so days based on dryness of the pot. pictures attached below are a bagseed at one month same soil mix same light schedule same everything

I think other than genetics the other possiblility is that you have something in the soil such as nematodes eating your roots slowing plant growth , either that or it is an autoflower and the lst and topping has set it back a few weeks

Either way I would flip it soon to 12/12 because it doesn’t seem like it will just have a growth spurt because some phenotypes just won’t allow some plants to get that big, you still could get an ounce or two

usually just do outdoor for flower so natural light will take its course most likely around mayish. no way to tell if its an auto is there? feeling like you could be right sonce the whole topping and transplanting does set autos back a long way. other plant at one month mark was treated the same way topped lstd bent tied ect

No real way to tell if it’s an auto or not however most autos will show pre flowers in week 3/4 although it isn’t unheard of that thay may take longer, you just never know with bag seed , I’ve grown lots of bag seed over the years and there’s been gems and there’s been plants with very strange growth patterns , problems etc , I would definitely just put it outside for flowering now , good luck with your grow keep us updated it looks like your plants are doing well!

And yeah you should really start autoflower strains in there final container but it’s not like you knew because it’s bagseed

Those leaves look a little funky like autos. Most likely genetics either auto or runt photo. Seeds differ so much in potential which is why most growers prefer clones of know stunners

If it’s 2 months old and not showing pre flowers it’s probably not an auto , my suspected auto put out pre flowers at around week 3-4 can’t tell exactly because I didn’t right down when I popped the bean

will do probably ,could my soil mix be too hot without it showing signs of burn resulting in it being stunted? i keep going back to check date bean popped and sure wnough march12th tap root popped, probably broke ground a day later
