Basically this is correct!

The advantage you might gain in a "name brand" bulb. Is nowhere near the cost difference in a "normal" bulb used in greenhouse's....
Say like Hortilux vs Plantmax. I still but Plantmax by the case...
The cheap bulbs in the U.S might be better than over here, but I can buy a Digimax 1000 HPS for $120 or a Growlush for $65 all I need is for that Digimax to give me 2% more yield and it was worth the extra money and from my experience they will give a lot more than 2% increase

good early signs on the coastal beans - the 4 I dropped have split and popped tails in around 16 hours. Buying some coco and that roots stuff today - finally have a hydro shop I can drive to now that I dont live in the sticks. you fucken beauty
Make sure you burn your clothes and have a bath in Azamax when you get home from there, hydro shops are like central station for spider mites.

the town I'm driving to I'll be worried about getting crabs walking down the main street
Welcome to the Nth Coast lol That’s why I shave my pubes and don’t ( very often at least ) root chicks that don’t do the same those things are fucking too hard to get rid of.

might shave mine off and glue them into a makeshift beard – can't have the new guy in town being seen walking into a shop like that. don't want people to think I'm weird you know

That would definitely help you fit in. All you’d need to do now is buy a Suburu outback or forester put a couple of the cringiest stickers you can find on the back window, drink way overpriced chia latte’s with soy milk, smoke rollies and rock some cool handmade jewellery and you’d be one of the locals

@OzCocoLoco Im gong to set up a bunch of cups with coco to get these coastal beans started. Do I need to do anything special prepping it? I'm thinking soak in water pH'd to 5.8 - 6.0, cut with perlite, give it a good mix.The question is should I charge it with weak nutrients or just water and roots for the first week or so until it can start taking a light feed?

It was an 07 with all the extras (not GT though). cunt of a thing that had major problems with oil blockages. Apparently it was an issue with the 05s - 07s. They changed the engine design after that and it's not a drama any more apparently. Every time it needed seeing to it was about 400 bucks labour. Pretty sure it wasn't an issue with the GT cos the turbo took a bit of the work out of it I think. They're still good cars but certain models were just rooted so it pays to research.

Reminds me I've still gotta cash the cheque from when I wrecked it - hope the fucker doesn't bounce, it's a long drive to take the bloke I got rid of it to task if it does.

What brand Coco is it ?
I don’t pre charge mine I try and just give mix to keep them alive for the first week or so,you can quite easily overwater seedlings in coco I’ve seen some guys bottom feed early on and have good success.
I’m still a bit unsure about when is the best time to start feeding,I used to wait till they just started to look hungry but I’m starting to feed almost straight away but only about 0.2 EC with tank water 0.4 on town .

I never thought of that... Haven't had a problem yet but ill be fkn carful from now on.
Just think about it,dude walks into his grow room notices a spider mite infestation, goes into full panic mode and drives straight to the grow shop to get some spray carrrying a few on him as he goes. This probably happens once a day at most shops so there’s a good chance for spider mites from different grows with different resistance to different chemicals to jump a ride home on you.
