Got myself a chiller and 1000 Watt Gavita

I feel like I gotta lose tent and mount light on ceiling that Gavita is a hot one.

Any feedback appreciated. Im going to update often and ask questions here.​

Tearing tent down today so I can mount light to ceiling. It's starting to look like a jungle in there. Bumped my ph up to 6 after a bit of reading probably fine where I was at based on plants.

Comments? Direction? I may have to add a light once I space these plants that's gonna suck

Good, what are your temps with the lights on? I read in your other thread that they were 95f, but you were getting some ac or something and that brought them under control more.

That gavita can cover a 5x5 area no problem, put a net over those ladies and weave them through it. Then you wont have to space your plants apart, and get some better yields with an easier to manage canopy.

You need an oscillating fan above the canopy, I don't see one. It will be easy since you're getting rid of the tent, just get a wall mounted one. The one you have on the floor right now is great, keep using it along with the one above the canopy.

78 with lights on I have ac blowing at plants with fan blowing basically in the middle of them they all have good movement I'm trimming and clening them up one more time then gonna let em eat.

I'm dropping a net over them today after trim and I clean my res.

the house ac was blowing into tent as well now its just gonna drop into middle.

These 6 plants could use 2 lights I think but not really a viable option atm

Im unsure how to take pics with light off, only light in room. They are not yellow at all, they look amazing although starting to wanna flop over a bit I'll be trimming for the last time today and setting up much more trellis.

Electric bill is not friendly at all, this will be my last grow with hps.

Plants seem very happy with these numbers I may go up a little 50-75 a week depending on what plants tell me

Plants been on 12/12 for roughly 2 weeks, Am I safe to try and clone cuttings or just toss them??? All look female at this point.

I wouldnt be so fast to ditch the hps.
Your gonna spend well over 1k, actually about 1500 to get a led that runs like a gavita. Id work on learning how to run your equipment better.

Concider ditching the ac, thats chewing up a lot of electric, and replace it with fans. Only flower at night. Look up the weather for your area and pick out the 12 coldest hours, thats when your light should run and only then. Pull air into your room with a 8 inch fan and have the inlet near the floor, have your exhause be a 8 inch fan hooked up to your carbon filter mouted to the ceiling.
Mount fans to the walls.
You may need a speed adjuster on your intake fan so it matches your exhust if you notice positive pressure in your room.

Basically you shouldnt need to run ac unless your trying to flower during the day, and theres not a very good reason to do that for most people.

I flower during the day because I'm here and its only time I can work on room. I like the darkness at night. Im venting ac out a window which I really don't like but only option at this point.

I'm thinking about dropping coin on 2 of these. I think that would help eliminate hps and AC.

Headed up to buy a canopy fan nothing exciting going on looks good to me I noticed the edges of a few of leaves starting to straighten up not many but you can see in pic. I'm gonna turn off ac tomor and experiment with temps. The water is right so maybe my room temps can be a little high

From the looks of them all my plants appear female and look healthy to me. I'm actually trying to look at them less. Jealous of all the pretty late stage flowers I see on these journals.

So noticed a couple things today, my plants are going crazy....

I'm wondering if my new growth has a little light burn or nutrient def.

Set up a timer on res for chiller and pump I saw no reason to run 24/7 I'll run chiller 10 hours during lights on. the pump dumps from top creating waterfall. I have a pump stirring res 24/7 so I think its good

Got myself a new environment meter, fancy scope and a bunch of cloner parts. I trellised a bit more and plan on adding 1 more to the top of where the plants are now.

What you guys think? Im 3 weeks into flower yesterday

So I moved my room a bit now have AC and chiller venting outside. Plants look good I think. I'm going outta town for 2 weeks so looking forward to noticing progress when I return.

I'm gonna tie down as much as I can, I'm out of height again hope they start getting fat instead of tall. The smells is amazing even with slightest touch.

PH 6 Megacrop has held ph within .01 since I started using. So far happy, very happy with results, very easy to use the way I do.

Things look good, in PM you asked me about changing the lights on time, it's no big deal imo. Try to avoid but no biggie. Let's say I'm in flower week 2 or whatever, an I really need to flip it for whatever reason, after lights been out 12 hours, just keep em on another whatever length of time until your desired new on time.

Any specific questions? I'm no hydro expert, did it in the past but I've been soil only for the last 6 or so years.
