Querkle has better veg speed, and more sweet candyish/cherry tinged phenotypes, while deep purple is a slowish in veg plant, which can be convenient for some like me. Deep purple has more of the urkle, so more candy sweet grape phenotypes, rare funky smelling grape plants can be found not like in querkle, which are more musky. Querkle takes 7-8 weeks, I'd give deep purple a week longer like 8-9 weeks. Obviously more purple plants will be found in the deep purple, I'd say quality of smoke is even between the two, if slightly being in favor of deep purple on potency.
Idk if subcool still has his males from 2012, but I was growing mostly TGA back then, I grew 20 each, same for ace of spades and chernobyl around $80 a pack it was worth it. Chernobyl is actually restocked at the attitude seedbank, for the first time in over 2-3 years.

cheers man i like the more stoney couchlock stuff and really potent smelling strains any advice on other strains breeders i can only get from places like attitude and what not sort seed banks?

Chernobyl has some fantastic phenos, I still run the slymer cut of it even though it yields like dogshit. The smell is fantastic and it’s definately potent. I’ve seen other great Chernobyl phenos along the way as well. I like Jillybean too, kinda sentimentally though as it was the first medical pot I ever bought a long ass time ago after I finally got out to Oregon.
I’ve got a cut of Agent Orange in veg, cant wait to see if it can hold up to some of the tangie ive had.

Ditto on Chernobyl; always get a lime plant. Some mild, but slymer is outrageous and my yields were good. I have a couple going now; hoping to get slymer again and graft it into the Orgi line, which is half agent orange.
I can't say I've ever had bad TGA plants. Some Ace of Spades were weak, but otherwise mostly stellar from Dairy Queen, Ripped Bubba, Jilly Bean, Jack Skellington, ... but a 3D girl was the best - delicious and potent. Probably never see that one again.

You might want to check out TGA's latest Urkle cross Grape Lime Ricky (Purple Urkle x Jack the Ripper). Their JTR crosses are far superior to their Space Queen crosses, IMO.

I've noticed higher potency but also higher rates of nanners/ballsacks from the jtr crosses. Chernobyl, agent orange, strawberry Daiquiri, ace of spades. The Spacequeen girls aren't a whole lot more resistant to popping nanners, but I guess subcool seeds you have to select from a large enough pool to find something really exceptional, like 40 seeds approx. I just finished some strawberry Daiquiri under minimal lighting, to see how many react and herm (about 60w led in 4x4 tent) and half the females popped balls, the most jtr Dom all seemed to do so. I've got 6-7 I'll be running again from 48 seeds, the whispy popcorns are potent enough to try a second grow with no seeding issues under 480w. Despite the chance of Chernobyl being a hermit, it's worth it finding a plant who isn't, because it's a great hybrid for people who love strong tasting and potent citrusy lemon/lime strains

karma has great genetics, pretty much anything he hits his biker Kush to is fire. I'd also recommend trichome jungle seeds, they use some of karmas genetics as well asas tga genetics Agent Orange in a few plants, namely "Mandarina", it's an agent orange hybrid with better yield, stability, stinkier, but just as tasty as A.O I'm. Trichome jungle is about half the price too...

Haven't grown any of tgas gear, that being said I do have Chernobyl seeds.
I have smoked jilly bean though, and it had an awesome smell, high, and appearance.

Badger on IG makes subs JTR crosses and he isn't using the original JTR male. I got 2 packs of Chernobyl( really should be called Chernobyl 2.0 or something since its not original) from Victoria Subs IG seed vendor recently, I hope the new JTR can still produce the golden ticket/slymer phenos?

Jillybean is ok potency, flower wise, but really great flavor, so concentrates work best for that strain imho, rosin or dry sift/bubble.
I am working some Jack the Ripper hybrids that are phenomenal. I have seen way too many phenos though, pretty open....i have had from pickles to musky fuel in smell/ taste, raw potency [smoked/vaped flowe] and a little too much mold proneliness, I read that comment earlier on spacedude, and agree with it being maybe step below, but outdoors, mold seems to be pretty weak and I always liked that.....

Check out Badgerdanks May 27 Chernobyl comments on IG. Badger says "he reminds him of the original, strong structure with great lemon/citrus aroma" was first I seen it mentioned. So I asked Sub on IG and he said it was new.

I seem to remember that Sub stated on growtube, that Jtr was kept/saved post fire, it was the weird episode where he was holed up at Dagos house, maybe Im behind on the times, but I do know that Ms Jill went on a big Ig rant, which also might be old news, and was demanding testing thru Phylos, because of "mis labeling". Her good friend runs the dispensary in the next town over from me, followed Mz jiils ig for a bit but fell off....
