I'm going to start growing in a cabinet soon and am looking for some advise on growing in that space. I have a main agenda, I'm strain hunting for strains that work for me; being older I like being more relaxed than heady and I'm playing with CBD for pain. So, when I'm growing and looking for strains that I like I don't want to be wasting time, effort, space for stains that I don't like and wont smoke. I'm looking for a method of growing that will allow me to grow 4 to 6 strains each grow in a small cab so I can start selecting which ones I like. Instead of growing large or bushy plants I was wondering how to grow a small plant perhaps a single cola right up the main stem and no side branching. I'm not looking for great yields here just a way to grow test strains and maybe get a half ounce or so on each one. Could I have some guidance on what might be the best method to achieve this. Manifold or topping I'd assume but how do you get that single cola or two? I've been thinking of using Dixie cups or 1qt cups and using hempy style or using a plastic tote with a bunch of 1 inch holes drilled on top and 1 inch net cups and do DWC. I'm looking at using a metal storage cab or building me a small wooden cab. My space ideally would be a 3w x 18 or 24 inch deep and between 4 and 5 feet high using led strips. After I start k finding strains I like I'd like to flower two plants in that space and try to get 4/5 ounces if possible and am looking at SOG or LST but for the small plants to test I'm wanting some advise from people that have done this before...please. I don't want to use autos as I already have a lot of regular seeds and want to keep mothers from the ones I like. Thanks!
