1000w nanolux DE CMH issue

Got the fixture in today and wired it up remotely.
The bulb is a beast.super bright but when it's on it makes a high pitch sound driving me crazy.
Anyone else experience this?
I wired the double ended part into my raptor hood for a 4x5 footprint.20180817_205059.jpg

Sorry I don't know anything about the high pitch noise. I was wondering if your going to run it air cooled? Over on Icmag 630 cmhs beat out SE 1k hps's in a head to head grow and has really peaked my interest in CMH but I'm worried about heat with the open CMH hoods.

Running it open,took the glass out of the hood.it gets pretty damn hot,I run a 2ton mini so I never notice the heat

they still have them in stock but they dont last long.Using a lux app on my phone its deffinitly brighter than the DE HPS.

here is how it shipped to me,I waited a while for it,They said they had a shipping container stuck at customs so there being sold as fast as they get them in.

i just looked at the price of them and its gone up a 100 dollars since they was first put up on the website.

ive been inquiring with them for a while about their growers choice fixture+bulbs, the nanolux, whatever de cmh i could get
said theyd email me when anything was in stock, havent heard from them. can you post the link?

3100 for flower only.Im about to drop one over GG4 and some jbeezy wedding cake clones i been vegging under cobs.
gonna run 820 watts of COBS over a 4x5 next to the CMH and see where the dry weight lands on each20180818_000353(1).jpg

nice. ill be watching that if its going to be journal'd
nice setup too. i also run rdwc, under de hps currently. veg is under de mh, clones under a cali lightworks blurple that i probably should have waited a bit before buying and got qb or cob instead

I love it.its perfect for a 4x5.i would say it would even work over a 5x5 or 4x6 in the right reflector
