Lowering pH fast !

My pH is at 9+ how much ammonium sulfate should I mix with a 2 gallon watering can, for a 5 gallon pot ?

I dunno but be careful that stuff is super high in (n) there's some liquid lime products you can use alongside it. It can be like 23%

My tap pH is 8.9, it takes 24 drops of GH pH down to adjust my 2 gallon water container to 6.5

Yeah, GH is good stuff. I've put a tablespoon in my 2 gal. Can (My tap is well water @ 6.9 no filtering) and it lowered it to about 3. 5 or so, but my soil was still @ 8.9 last night. I haven't tested it today yet.

next time use gypsum. GH ph up/down is toxic to your plants.

My tester is a long copper rod (no battery)

switch to organics and throw that ph meter out, saves alot of worrys if done right

Check you tester against your friends to make sure that it is working properly before doing any soil adjustments.
