Will short fat plants still produce decent yields?

Started late (outdoors) northern californa, and they are about 20 inches tall, but they seem to be budding well. This is my first grow (wasn’t sure wether posting here or the newbie section was important). I’ll post pics as soon as I get home to snap ‘em, but was curious if anyone else has seen good yields with shorter than normal strains. Thanks in advance!

You'll have more than if you hadn't planted anything at all.

A plant that's naturally short isn't exactly the same as a short plant that didn't get to grow out fully.
You'll get weight, but it is what it is.

Key word is potential, and the plant didnt get to it's full potential in veg so the same will apply to flowering. But better than zip and nada.

Here’s the little chubby girl, she’s only about 10 weeks but for starting as late as i did, I’d say she’s determined, still wasn’t sure so I thought I’d ask. Will definitely do the choco hashberry again I think.

That plant is pretty small and not what I'd consider "chubby". You might get an ounce or two off her.

She’s only about 10 weeks, but I’ve noticed she was growing more out than tall. First real grow though, so I’m still newbing it up it terms of knowing what I’m looking at.

Is that a clone? Looks like its growing out of rockwool. Plants grown from seed will be much more vigorous than clones.

It is indeed a clone, I started too late for seeds. I figured I could use the experience as a first time grower for next season. As far as the soil goes, it’s fox farm ocean blend with some worm castings, peat moss, and perlite. All of which make up at least 1/4 of the blend, Fox Farm making up the other 3/4 or so. And big bloom now every watering during flower stage. Recommendations if any? I feel like I may have over done the worm castings and or the peat moss being it’s already included in the FF blend.

You cant overdo worm castings!
