I know all the kids nowadays are doing vapes and edibles and people are getting rich from it. Personally I'm not interested in that stuff. I just want to get stoned. I just want to put some sweet tasting weed in my bong, bowl or Zig Zag and feel that good hit man. I assume there are a few people left in the world that don't care about the latest fad and just want to get stoned. Time will tell.

Inhaling smoke is bad for your lungs. Vaping is significantly better for your lungs. It's not a fad whatsoever, it is what the people who don't wish to cash in their lungs are doing.

You have been misinformed.

Although full studies on vaping haven't been completed yet due to how new it is, they already know it causes many of the same ailments smoking does: COPD, emphysema, lockup/blocking of vessels, heart disease and more.

So true, have some friends that are developing respiratory probs from vaping for 2 solid yrs. I will stick to my flowers.

Pretty much anything natural and untouched is going to be the better way to go.

Make no mistake: ANYTHING you put into your lungs other than atmosphere is bad for you.

But anyone suggesting that vaping is better for you is either lying, stupid, fooling themselves, selling you something or all of the above.

That's a shame to hear. I don't vape myself because weed isn't legal here and it's a pain. Sounds like it will be edibles only for me one day..

Still, certain chemicals won't be inhaled through vaping rather than smoking assuming you use the correct temperature.

Prices in the sf bay area are outrageous and the taxes only make it worse.

Its so expensive in the bay, its cheaper for me to head to la. I get the same quality for half the price, even with the travel costs.

Lack of competition mainly. LA has 10x the options. I can go to a half dozen spots and get fire for $25-$30 an 8th, out the door in la. By contrast, sf bay that same fire will cost you $55 to $60 plus tax. I've seen spots in sf with $90 an 8th, $100 half gram sauces, $400 canna cigars, its crazy.

I take my happy ass to burbank, grab a couple zips, eat at jimmys and bounce back to the bay. Takes 12 hours but its worth it.

I don't think there are any studies on vaporizing flowers directly like we are able to do now.
Within a few weeks, burning and smoking weed has become a second choice to me.

I am ambivalent towards the cartridges as I am allergic to PG, If you use a cheaply made Chinese cart for your oil, expect the elements to be made from suspect materials.

Even joints remind me a bit of the way cigarettes used to taste

In NV it's an oz of flower but not sure on concentrates. Could be an oz too since lawmakers never could get a grasp on concentrates. Prices still 13 to 17 bucks a gram. BM is around $2-$3 a gm for outdoor mids.

Not true.

Most of the harmful chemicals in cigarettes are the preservatives they treat the tobacco with. Many of those same exact preservatives are used in vaping. There's actually very little difference at all between vaping and smoking.

You're far better off growing and smoking your own products, be that tobacco or marijuana.
