You can't even explain what you highlighted. The birth on USA soil gives puts them in jurisdiction. We not talking about the parents. Why are Trump supporters so damn stupid
The separate part of the Amendment makes it clear it is something distinct (different) than simply being born in the USA. If the only requirement was being born inside the borders of the USA, then it would have just states this was the only factor (and not added additional requirements)

The 14th amendment was only ever about figuring out what to do with freed black slaves, because the framers considered them a burden. It had nothing to do with the current revisionist thinking to make us look more civilized than we were back then.

It's also not racist pointing out your SJW delusions that people weren't complete assholes back then, and Lincoln wasn't the savior who freed black slaves because he was not doing it for SJW reasons, but economic ones.

seems fairly straightforward, there is an AND that says the persons must also be subject to the jurisdiction, which illegal aliens arguably are not. Its perfectly within the constitution framework.

The part you highlighted was about children of foreign diplomats who are born here. Unlike everybody else in the US, foreign diplomats, ambassadors and their families have immunity to the laws (jursidiction) of the United States. I'm embarrassed for you that I had to point that out.

A. Purpose
The child of a foreign diplomatic officer accredited by the U.S. Department of State who is born in the United States may voluntarily register for lawful permanent residence. [1]

B. Background
Foreign diplomats enjoy certain immunities under international law. The spouse and child of a diplomat generally enjoy similar immunities. Children born in the United States to accredited foreign diplomatic officers do not acquire citizenship under the 14th Amendment since they are not “born . . . subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.” [2] DHS regulations, however, have long allowed these children to choose to be considered lawful permanent residents (LPRs) from the time of birth. [3]

Registration as a permanent resident under this provision is entirely voluntary, but it does involve an application process.

This registration process is necessary and available only if both parents were foreign nationals when the child was born. If one parent was an accredited diplomat, but the other was a U.S. citizen or non-citizen U.S. national, then the child was “born . . . subject to the jurisdiction of the United States,” and is a citizen.

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
