worst growing ideas

what are some of the worst growing ideas you've seen on rollitup? I've seen someone asking how to clone seeds, and people joke about using candles to grow. what about painting a room with glow in the dark paint? how is that for saving electricity. no bulbs needed, the walls will glow and light the room, sweet.. my all time favorite, one of the pro's dug a muddy hole in the corner of this back yard, dropped a 5 gallon bucket in the hole on its side, took some pictures, and said it's the start of his marijuana tree house. when was that harvest anyway, we were invited to the harvest party in his tree house. incandescent grow lights are always bad, and halogens..

I know someone who thinks if they pull the pollen sacks off a male plant, it will force it to flower. I'm not sure if that is really true, but it sounds like a really dumb idea and wouldn't work.

Most of the worst growing ideas I've seen
were right on this forum.

I don't understand the concept of doing anything Half ass.
Whenever I do anything I try to make the best of it or
not do it at all.

What I think it is, people are friggin lazy and they want
to be able to walk into a store, buy a kit, have it setup
in minutes, and think all I have to do is turn the power on
and then in 4 months "Voila" they've got weed.

I'm sorry it doesn't work that way. It's takes research and work.
It's taken me to where I am today.
I can put out the creamiest crop around every 2 months, and I've got it down to a science.
I'm growing about 25 - 30 Oz. every 2 months of Dutch passion Oasis and Blueberry.
I'm growing hydroponically in an ebb-n-flow system.

I'd love to get into the details, but I think I've said enough for now. :-P

i really don't think it will work, but someone on here is doing a grow and putting water with cigarettes that have been let sit in it for a while and using that to water his plants.

i will never understand why people want to grow in a pc case. you cant possibly yield very much to make the effort even worth it...

When I first decided to grow, I was going to put my rig out in the pasture on battery power. It was a pretty RETARDED idea... but feasible and I did a test run on all of my equipment, it would have worked but it would have been too much effort for me to walk 30 minutes to the back of our property every day to check up on my babies.

I said fuck it, my grow box is 3 feet to my right and it's disguised as a storage cabinet.. woopdadoo
