I recently been enjoying my smoke which helps my pain from a work injury "fell around 18 ft from a weldshop job and lucky to be alive now"... Dr prescribe pain meds actually make me very sick, and alcohol although I do love it, has been giving me health problems as of late... A friend introduced me something else for my pain and it was very nice, relaxing and actually taken my pain away, not just mask it. And for the first time in 20 years since my accident I can actually have a laugh and enjoy myself...
Anyway, my friend who hooked me up said in our area its not easy to get, and when you do, you dont know what strain it is, you just get what you get. I know Im more partial to indica then sativa, just me I guess... So I been researching on just growing my own. My mind was blown with how much of a science this is and I love it. The growing seems as fun as anything...
I just recently purchased a grow tent which will easily fit in a corner in my basement. Basement is more like a living area then a basement, carpeting, etc... The tent is 2x4 and 60" high. Most likely a little bigger then I need but it was on sale at amazon and got some good reviews.
Im not rushing to get this put together, I actually want to take my time and do it properly and right, as I for see this being a life hobby that I will enjoy and put my heart and soul into.
Now here is my question please. I am looking at lighting to be the next thing to add to this, and been looking at the Phlizon Newest 600W LED Plant Grow Light. It comes with a digital humidity thermometer and adjustable rope. It seems "to me at least" something good for a beginner, not that I wouldnt learn the deeper aspects of lighting later in time, but something to get started with... I plan on starting with one plant, and hydro at that which would be a little down the road.
For a grow tent that size I stated, with one plant, would this be to much light? not enough light? Is it really geared for newbies such as me until I progress and grow with my learning down the road?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
