Barney's sells the pineapple chunk as a quick finishing indica but I had two very sativa phenols. Both went well over 90 days and the Christmas tree looking one got huge and went over 100 days before I chopped and it still needed a lot of time.
It was a 3/10 at best for me. The smaller fast one had a Irish spring taste that ok but the bigger one tasted like black licorice. I was looking for indica style but nada.
I did smoke some tangerine dream that a dude's friend grew that tasted great, was a weaker high but great flavor.
Yea all mine were the sativa-ish phenol lol, I thought they gave me some wrong beans or got em mixed up because the GG#4 was a very indica, couch-lock stone and the PC was the excited heady stone.
Mine took forever (11/12wks) too but was loaded w crystals and they got big, 6-7ft..
Def prefered the PC over the GG4 which was the 2nd most anticipated pre-grow (Jack Diesel was #1 anticipated and was also #1).
well, it seems you have been lucky so far, but no amount of luck in the world is going to help with that tangerine dream. hands down the worst strain I have ever grown and pretty much everyone I know or have talked to or seen post about it has had the same shit experience.
I was looking for Space Queen but couldnt find it and thought I'd try the TD, ill cross my fingers maybe my Irish luck well prevail again haha
Barneys Farm... Seedsman... I didnt have the best of luck with either of them.. My pineapple chunk were underwhelming to say the least.. I think one maybe 2 decent out of the pack.. I had a few that did not want to finish for shit and a couple more that didnt stack properly..
Seedsman I had a pack that didnt pop... they sent another but idk if I ever got around to it. It's been a while so I suppose things could have changed.
OP: imo dialing in your grow is right up there with genetics.. You could have the best genetics but if your temps or ph are off the end product is gonna be crap. Im not saying that's your case but just something to keep in mind.
Seems like theres a consensus developing, I liked a few of the strains but a few Seedsman strains were... Meh.. But idk maybe I've just gotten lucky..
Where are you guys finding better beans? I'm after 30%+ genetics..
