NEED HELP WITH PROMIX

Hey all! Im looking for some help. Im new to the promix world and need somw help, cant seem to get dialed in. Im using house and garden nutes and promix hp. Im at around 700ppm in veg with 5ml of calmag and 7a and 7b. Growth looks pale and stems are purple. Any help would be greatlyappreciated! im watering at 6.3 with ro water and was feeding everytime but then tried feed feed water and now trying feed water feed to see if i have a build up happening.

What is your ppm after your cal/mag added to water and before nutes? You are really close to being dialed in.

You have to remember that all pro-mix has a light nutriant mix in it for trans planting, it only lasts till you completey water it out though, so be carefull not to over feed when you transplant.

5ml of calmag in a gallon of ro before nutes is around 240ppm. The house and garden rep told me to drop the calmag cause it causes uptake issues...i tried that but got rust spots.

They only gwt transplanted once, from a solo cup to thw finishing pots. No nutes in promix hp. Its just peat and perlite with myco, wetting agent and lime?

Are you including the cal/mag when you do water only watering?

No, pro-mix company enocalates all the mixes, with a light nutrient mix, do the research. I've actually talked to one of the main peaple from Pro-mix, and that's what they told me.

Im not trying to argue just reading whats on the bag. All the research i have done as said promix hp is inert. I had no issues after transplant tho. The plants are about a month old now.

Also looks like over watering, you can see speedbumps, and puffy leaves, over watering rotts off the root hairs on the roots, and then the plant can't uptake anything but water, that's where the purple comes into play, the purple is the first sing of MAG diefinency, first it starts very little purple on the upside towards the light, then the whole stem turns purple. The only thing to do is lay off the water, and ad microbes, then ,maybe you can repair the roots, but it's probably to late. I've been growing for 11yrs.

Yes. Should i not be? Also should i be doing a feed water feed schedule? Should i just use plain ro water on water days? Its pretty impossible to ph ro water im finding unless adding something to it first
My ro water is 6.5 Out the filter at 0 ppm, I use pro-cal from green planet that is organic, so I don't have to worry about salt build up, but cal MAG is salts, I would feed, water, cal MAG, water, feed. I grow in pro-mix HP also, and I only feed once a month, feed water, water water feed.

I would not use epsin salt, you don't know exactly how much your using, that stuff is very powerful

That sounds good, yes, cal/mag always, water or feed. Was wondering if maybe you were not. 240 is a bit higher than what I run, I top at 200, but I don't know that 240 is a problem.
Your leaf structure is perfect and the only marbled dis-coloring I can see in your close up looks to be on newer growth, which would suggest an immobile nutrient is involved somehow, lockout or deficient. Check your soil ph if you can, no way to know if every bag gets exact same ratio of lime and peat moss. After that, make only minor changes to try and narrow it down, you aren't off by much on whatever it is. Nice work.

Hope I can help bro, it's hard to give advice when I'm not actually part of your grow, many factors go into making a diagnosis, like, how much light, how bugs your space, how much your watering etc, etc

This dis coloring of the leaves hasn't happen yet, you can see the speed bumps, and puffiness in the leaves, thats, overwatered

That could be it, the Epsom spray, perfectly good thing to do. Are those close up leaves going yellower or are the edges going darker green? If you are not sure, watch them for a few days. I have seen some leaves blotch like that after Epsom sprays and they turned out great. If so, they will fully green in time, some parts are just greener faster.

Feed once a month? Dang. Some people i talk to feed everytime or feed water feed. Im thinking its the excess calcium that is blocking something from being taken in? Was giving full calmag dose every feed/water.
