Fox farm, ocean forrest, using botanicare complete system. As recomended by their schedule. Ph always in check. Tried extra cal-mag. Tried adding x-nitrogen through bat guanno. Yellowing starts about week 4 of flowering. Never lets up. Cant get a handle on it. Plants do awesome right up to this point.
Yellowing @ week 5 . Every time.

Blue dream is a medium skill level grow. WW is novice. Mistery is a mystery.
Blued dream is a 200+% stretcher.
WW is less than 100%

Going evenly yellow then soft and limp or spreading yellow/brown blotches then going hard and crispy?

What type of light are you using ( LED HPS CFL'S etc) how strong and distance from the plant? Went thru this exact same scenario for a couple of grows with a 600W HPS and around the 3-4 week mark leaves would start to fade to light green yellow and die off but everything up to that point was just fine. I assumed it was just a nutrient deficiency but unlikely 3 grows in a row with different plants doing this at the same week of flower would be a nutrient deficiency. Turned out to be nothing more than light intensity (not heat) from the light being to close to the plant.

Sounds like they are gobbling up all the available N during their growth spurt thru the stretch and coming up short after. They use a lot of N during the stretch and with organics it takes time for the bio-herd to reduce the organic components into the salts the plants need to feed on.
You might want to try adding the guano when you begin flowering so it has time to be made available when needed.
Soil temps are important as well. If too cool the bacteria and fungi slow down and that reduces available nutrients. Do you add any beneficials to your soil during the grow or sweeteners to support their growth?
I use soilless and hydro nutes myself but have read enough about organics in the last 40 years to know there are a lot of biological factors going on under the surface that need tending to so you get the best results.
I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS. I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as some are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

Could be a number of things. Lack of N, too much of something, no light getting to lower leaves.. List goes on.

Yellowing leaves that soften indicate nitrogen deficiency for whatever reason. I would try to get the EC of some runoff.

I don't remember how botanicares line is set up, but are you switching to flower nutrients when you switch your lights to 12/12?
Most plants still need a decent amount of nitrogen the first several weeks of flower. I've seen lots of growers solve this by not switching to flower nutes until the stretch is over or others switch when they see actual flowers forming. Some of us run the same nutrients all through the plants growth and just adjust the strength for the plants needs.

I'm not familiar with "stretcher".
You could be on to something here. I went to a cool tube and brought the light a lot closer than it used to be. Were your plants able to recover?
Yeah they ended up doing fine and I got pretty decent yields but the fading only seemed to be the top portion of the plant (wish I had some pics) but the lower canopy (because I Never use the practice of lollipopping) was still healthy and green I determined this had to be environmental. My temps were good, humidity a bit low (which I'm sure helped to contribute to it) and plenty of air flow but because I had just purchased a new bulb (600W HPS) I figured this would be the first thing to try and raised it about 5 inches more from the canopy (was at about 18 inches) and after a few days the fading slowed right down to almost stop but they didn't recover just stopped getting worse. At the point your at 4-5 weeks they won't recover much if any but your buds should grow on and fatten up. At around 7+ weeks you can expect some fading of the fan leaves which at that point is pretty normal. So you could try lifting your light, maintain good humidity and maybe back off trying to fix it thru your medium just ensure it always has water for good transpiration and I'm sure they'll be fine. I do hope this helps as I'm running 2 plants now at 7 weeks flower the indica is just now doing some fade but the sativa is still green as hell and up to this point I've had no issues with Early fade since keeping the light a little higher up.

that is normal for week 5-6 to start to yellow adding n will fluff your buds only thing to do is strip the yellow and double the p for maxium bud yeild
