5gal, dwc bucket insulation

Does anyone know if, and where they sell styrofoam insulation sleeves that a 5gal bucket would fit into. I have looked and I can't find it. Do they even make these? And if not, WHY? seems like such a cheap simple, easy idea. Kinda like those cheap coolers you can get for 1.99 at any gas station. I'm thinking one designed specifically for dwc buckets. If they somehow don't make them, and anyone has the financial backing to produce them, you can put me on the list for about 30 of them.

Very simple to create them. Buy a roll of reflectix DOUBLE BUBBLE Insulating Mylar.
It comes in 12" & 16" wide rolls so the 12" is near perfect for 5gal bucket height. Or use the 16" if it is needed

Yeah, but don't they have a round Styrofoam sleeve that is specifically designed for dwc? It seems like the biggest setback to dwc is heat, this seems like such a perfect solution, that I can't believe no one makes them. It would also allow you to use white buckets, since it would block light from entering the buckets.

A chiller is all you need. Insulation just helps hold the cold in.

I have never seen any styrofoam sleeves.

The trick with the insulating mylar is maximizing the dead air space between the bucket wall and the inner side of the foil. Think like a thermos. You are taking advantage of air's poor thermal conductivity and then maximizing that with foil. Use something to create a 3/4 air gap and it will have a respectable r value.

I'm thinking of making one. Maybe use a sleeve a bit bigger than the bucket. Put it over bucket then fill all the spaces with Great Stuff. Spray insulation, it expands and covers sides of bucket.

The price jumped up to 25 now, lol.

Any higher than that I might be tempted to sleeve a bucket with some yoga mat and velcro tape...

Oh ya and I also seen igloo ice blocks on sale for .98 cents. For those that use frozen water bottles, why not upgrade and pack a freezer full of these?
