If you had put an Obama or a Clinton bumper sticker on your car and parked it at a trail head in rural Idaho or Oregon in 2017, you most likely would come back to a vandalized car after going for a day-hike.

I could wear a MAGA hat anywhere in Portland, the unofficial home of Antifa, and never feel a unsafe for one moment. Same with a Trump bumper sticker. As @Moses Mobetta said (and you dismissed), Trump is calling for violence from his supporters and they are taking his words as permission.

Hate crimes, vandalism and white supremacist terrorist acts are all up since Trump took office and the majority of perpetrators are white Christians motivated by their bias against people of another religion, ethnicity or race.

So, what is your point then. Just because one person became violent against Republican Congressmen doesn't change the facts that hate crimes by white Christians are up and they are doing their deeds with Trump's permission against people of other race, religion or ethnicity. From what you said, you agree with this. So, why bring up the baseball practice shooter?

Hate crimes are not rising. That is a lie. There are more agencies reporting hate crimes now. (To make this narrative viable)

The statistics I gave you came from the US Justice Department (Barr's org.), who say at the beginning of the report:

Of these agencies, 2,040 reported 7,175 hate crime incidents involving 8,437 offenses.

It's called The FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting Program for a reason, dumbass.

edit: correction on the increase in hate crimes. The increase between 2016 and 2017 is actually 17% with 6% more agencies reporting hate crimes occurring in their districts.
