Not yet. Maybe in the future, who knows.Just trying to think bigger. If that’s really the case would you be to possibly identify a seed as male, female, hermie? Or even once it breaks the seed shell in seedling stage?
I know they're able to test genetic profiles on extremely young plants. Don't think they can test the gender yet though.
Several years ago, there was a viral video going around suggesting you could determine sex of the seed. Supposedly females had a dimple on the side of them.
The claim has been proven false.
