These arrived today. 5050 Solstrip with 3500k white, wide blue channel and phosphor coated 660 red. Taxes were minimal, Cutter will work with you on this ;)

Im under the impression that these pc reds can run up to 2 watts each, best under 1 but really @welight would have to confirm.
Looking closely at the chips you see the same "pie"-like structure as on the crees, 8 little leds under one phosphor if i can count right.

Hi all. This is my first post. Looking forward to many more! I want to chime in that the Cree J5050 can handle up to 6W each with proper cooling. I have been running a 5050 solstrip @ 500W. This is 10A per channel. Only try this with liquid cooling. Cant wait to get some PC REDS!!!!!!!!! Please support Cutter electronics for making this happen! This is the most exciting horticulture product development ever! IMO bigger than cobs.

The advantage to the PC red is that broad spectrum that you can't get with mono colours, efficiency is lower than mono colours but at the same time the spectrum is kick arse, also forward voltages match up with standard whites and this makes it easier to design with.
