Yea only on that 1 top but THE other 7 are fine so I will not be cupping early just for 1 fox tailing at the top wouldn't make sense. But thanks for your input I'm thinking around a week to. may push it to 2. Plus fox tailing not that bad
From my experience from skunk strains they are fast flowerers. Looks closer to 2 weeks to me but some skunk strains/phenos mature very quickly. Give it a week and check out the trichs then??

With skunks you want to harvest late, sensi is a 9 weeker technically.

The trick with the trichs is not if they are clear or not its to watch for when they change to amber, it happens quick like a few days. Observe the trichs changing over time now and you will know what moves she is making.

One word on your grow and strain - WOW :-)

Super skunk = Skunk & afgahni

I would give her max. 60 days.

What Kind of high do you want to have?

With that genetics you can chop it now of, if you want a more happy head high, or give it 60 days and get a more couchlook more sedativ

Have a look at my avatar. That was skunk no.1, grown outdoors in dwc. I planted from seed about a month before winter (hence the purple leaves from the cold overnight lows) so she would start to flower when mature. Kind of like an autoflower would. Off memory she was 11 weeks from seed to harvest! She yielded real good. And waay faster than the other 9 different strains i had going.

It is REALLY easy to harvest too early. I don't really believe all the "harvest early for a head high" stuff anymore. I have grown thousands of plants and lots of phenotypes of a bunch of strains. If you want a heady euphoric high, grow a plant that is supposed to have that effect. The only thing you get from cutting early is less high, less yield, and less quality.

It is much harder to harvest to late then most people will lead you to believe. I've never seen someone accidentally over ripen a plant. It takes weeks of ignoring your plants for that to happen.

Most plants follow a pretty typical maturation pattern. First the stigma receed back towards the buds, THEN the buds start to swell internally. The individual bracts will begin to plump up and look fat. Finally during this last stage the trichomes can be checked to determine exactly when you want to harvest. This ripening process usually takes 2ish-3ish weeks AFTER the buds stop growing much outwardly. Some plant may do this faster, but its not something where one day the plant is good and the next its over ripe. It all takes time.

I learned years ago that there is zero advantage to cutting early unless you must for some outside reason. The best smoke comes from healthy fully matured buds!
